All the staff of reception were very pleasant and helpful.
The room was a very good size and the facilities were what i would hope for.

The room needs updating as the paintwork and fixtures look tired - our shower leaked and the batteries in the remote control were flat.
It would be very helpful to have guidance on how to find the car park - it is very well hidden.
i did feel like the poor relative since i seem to have got a very good price for my room but it was as far from the front as possible!
*my tipDont visit when the asparagus, anchovy and strawberry festival is on - its impossible to drive to the hotel

Spent ages trying to find the hotel. Didn\'t realize we had to park and walk. Parking very difficult. Better communication at booking, or even before booking, would be appreciated, to give more details of parking regulations in Bergen Op Zoom, suggested areas to park car, coordinates for GPS, etc.

A great location and a hotel full of character. Public rooms on the ground floor were delightful and well-appointed. A good chef. Staff generally helpful, but sometimes needed a bit of pushing.

The Grote Markt can be very noisy at night (on Saturday night until 4 AM) and the rooms themselves rather cramped. Air conditioning in our room did not function and could not be repaired.

Being woken up twice by someone being allocated my room at 10.30pm. As well as being rung by reception at 11.00 to be told that i was "not on their system" despite being booked in earlier. When mentioned to the reception next morning there was clear indifference to this being a problem. No apology given.
