The rich history of Bruges shows all throughout the city. Hotel Flanders also has a rich history. It is situated in a building that has been known under the name of Grand Hotel Verriest since 1905, which was then the largest hotel in the city. In 1940 the building lost its function as a hotel, but in the nineties the building was refurbished on a smaller scale. Since the year of 2000, Hotel Flanders has been florishing. The hotel is very centrally located, which makes it a perfect accommodation for a visit to this beautiful city.
Hotel Flanders has much to offer for a pleasant stay. It has a heated indoor swimming pool, where you can relax after an active day. On sunny days you can go for a stroll in the garden and enjoy the sun on the terrace.
Hotel Flanders offers 50 luxurious and modern rooms, that are equipped with a bath or shower, toilet, hair dryer, telephone, television and coffee and tea making facilities. In the Superior room you also have a writing desk and a separate sitting area.
Food and Drinks
The extensive warm and cold breakfast buffet is daily served from 08:00 until 11:00 h. The hotel does not have a restaurant. In the city centre of Bruges you can enjoy a dinner in one of the many restaurants. After dinner you can enjoy a drink in the modern lounge bar of the hotel, which is open between 16:00 and 01:00 h.
