The locals are famous for their abundant character. Upon arrival in hotel Portinari you will be welcomed by the helpful staff. The hotel has luxurious rooms, equipped with air conditioning, radio, televisie, telephone, minibar and a hairdryer. All rooms, as well as the tastefully decorated reception area were renovated. In the bar and at the reception smoking is allowed. All the places of interest of Brugge lie within only a few minute's walk from the hotel. If you arrive by car, you can park it in the underground parking lot Centrum in front of the hotel.
Old city gates and historic mills, de Grote Markt, de belfry and the town hall, the old market Vismarkt... Brugge has plenty objects worth seeing. For centuries, Brugge was a flourishing trading town and the city's high-quality cloth was exported to the whole of Europe. Museum het Kantcentrum - until mid 20th century home to the lace-makers - you can marvel at various types of lace.
Food and Drinks
A fine extensive cold and warm breakfast buffet awaits the guests between 7:00h. and 10:00h. It includes sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, beans and smoked salmon. After an active day of sightseeing you can ponder over the day's experiences with a drink in the lively bar, in the salon or on the inviting terrace. A restaurant is not one of the facilities, but in the direct surroundings many cafes and places to eat can be found. Brugse Zot is a strong beer from the local brewery.

The museums in the city are also definitely worth visiting from Hotel Portinari Brugge.
