A very pleasant experience

If your looking for a hotel only a short walk from the Grand Place, Catherdral of Brussels and other attractions along with nearby transport access, then this hotel is for you. Carrefour is a one of those hotels you dream of finding. Good on Price, Clean and Comfortable in an excellet location. If like me you like to come and go as you please then this hotel is for you. I've read reports saying that the breakfast was poor. All I can say is that whilst I stopped at the hotel, it was very good and lots of it, breakfast is excellent. Highly recommended to all who like convienient and discrete hotels.

For those who wish to be treated like VIPs, then forget the Carrefour - the staff are friendly, helpful and will try their best to help but remember this is not a 5-star hotel. If you want VIP all the way then I suggest you put your hand in your pocket and pay 500-800 euro's a night at one of the bigger and more expensive hotels and see if you get VIP treatment there.

On Saturday and Sunday nobody working at the reception spoke Dutch. This is a scandal in the capital of Belgium. Some Dutch guests could only be helped after interference of other guests.

Very nice hotel with a great location

We asked for an extra bed in our room as the hotel does not offer triple rooms The extra bed was however a very uncomfortable camping bed resulting in the person that was supposed to sleep on it, to rather sleep on the floor.

Room, comfort and cleanliness was one of the best during our 5 weeks in Holland and Belgium. The room did have a patio over looking the square outside the hotel. This was a great bonus. Breakfast was served in a cold bain-marie causing the "hot food" to be fused together and un appetizing.(3mornings) Complaint to the waitres caused an argument between the chef and waitres, making breakfast awkward.

De receptioniste heeft ons heel goed geholpen met al onze vragen omtrent de Magritte musea. Zonder haar (Rosa) hadden we beide musea niet kunnen bezoeken in ons weekendje weg. Prachtige kamer (suite) en spaarlampen (duurzaam).

Prima hotel met goede service in het hart van het centrum van Brussel

Een heel goed hotel, centraal gelegen aan een leuk, historisch plein(tje), daardoor heel veel te doen/zien op loopafstand. Service prima en heel fijn was het dat onze bagage na het uitchequen daar nog mocht blijven staan, verlengt het verblijf met bijna een volle dag!
