Surroundings
Around the Grand Place are the town hall, the Broodhuis, but also many cafes, terraces and restaurants. In the Broodhuis (bread house) the bakers used to come to sell their bread. Nowadays it houses the Museum of the City of Brussels. Here, more than 500 costumes with the symbol of Brussels, Manneken Pis, are on display. In the Jubelpark you'll find museums and a triumphal arch, constructed to mark the fiftieth anniversary of Belgian independence. The colonnade on both sides of the arc lead to the Royal Museums for Art and History and to Auto World.
