If you want an affordable stay in the centre of Brussels, Hotel Barry Brussels is an excellent choice. Just in front of the hotel, on the Anneessensplein, is a statue of Frans Anneessens, a notorious figure from the 17th century during the Brussel riots. It was created in 1889 by the Belgian sculptor Thomas VincotteVictor. The rooms in Hotel Barry are simple but well furnished with good beds, a desk with chair, television, a wake-up service and safe. There is also a bathroom with shower and toilet.
At a 5-five minute walk from the hotel is the entertainment centre with many great bars and chic grand cafes. If you want to use public transport you have enough options, the hotel is close to the metro station Anneessens and the central railway station. Brussels is an excellent place for culture lovers, there are more than 70 museums in this city. Such as the Historical Art Museum with works by Rubens and Hieronymus Bosch. Directly next to the museum is the Museum of Modern Art, here's contemporary works of famous artists like Van Gogh and Matisse.

Cheap, clean and friendly and worth another stay.
+
Close to the station (Brussels Midi 10min walk). You can catctch a train from here to Bruges/Ostend for a shopping trip. Adequate breakfast. It was quiet during my stay.
You get what you paid for and yes I would stay here again.
–
No tea making equipment in your room?. Nothing to do with the hotel, but I got ripped off using the local taxis. Watch yourselves.

Nice room and there was free wi-fi in the room. Good location near town.

It is near a busy street so there was a bit of traffic noise at night, but it was not too bad.

Decent stay in a convenient location
+
Convenient location, reasonable price, serves its purpose.
–
Nothing serious to complain about. Perhaps a vending machine selling bottled water, soft drinks and/or snacks at night for guests could add value.
