Description

Although the name of Hotel Manhattan evokes a place far away from the city centre of Brussels, its guests can walk to the 'Grand Place' of Brussels in just a few minutes. The hotel itself can be easily reached by public transportation. The train station 'Gare du Nord' can be reached within a 2-minutes' walk. The business centre of Brussels is also very close by. The more remote destinations in the city can be easily reached with the metro, for which there is a station very close to the hotel.

The hotel has a classical interior due to the ceiling decorations, chandeliers, warm use of colours, and carpets. The 62 rooms of the hotel are equipped with a shower and a toilet, television, and a telephone with a direct outside line. The rooms are also provided with a desk. The business traveller can arrange meetings in the hotel itself, as the Manhattan Hotel has several conference rooms. There are also rooms that can work as a perfect backdrop for banquets and other types of festivities. The hotel is thus an excellent starting point for tourist activities and a good accommodation for a business trip.

Food and Drinks

The hotel serves a continental breakfast between 07:00 and 10:00 h. For lunch and dinner there are plenty of restaurants in the atmospheric city centre of Brussels.

Internet

The hotel does not have Internet facilities.

Other information

- The hotel has a 24-hour reception
- Pets are not allowed.
- Luggage can be stored at the hotel.

Surroundings

Hotel Manhattan has an ideal proximity to the metro stations 'Rogier' and 'Gare du Nord'. The world-famous 'Atomium' can be reached quickly by metro. The historic city centre of Brussels is also within walking distance. Within several minutes you can reach the 'Grote Markt' and the city's other attractions nearby. Of course, the statue of 'Manneken Pis' is a must for any visitor of Brussels.

+ The service was ok.
- The room was really small, old and dirty, the bedroom was uncomfortable. I did not get much sleep because of noises from other rooms and because of the bedroom. The lift in the hotel is really old and I would say potentially dangerous!!

+ Location and price.
- The breakfast was bad, bread, bread and bread. The rooms are old and dont take long showers, the hot water has a limitator so if you take more than 5 minutes you my need to take the soup off with a towel or wait to see if there is more water.

+ this hotel is in a very good position for everything we wanted to do in the city.It had the biggest bath i have ever seen in a hotel!
- the legs on the bed were broken so the bed was placed on telephone directories, the curtains were 2 feet shorter than the windows, the breakfast falls far short of continental breakfastsi have had elsewhere and having asked for extra pillows at 11am i was given keys to another room at 8pm to get my own!there weren't any so waited for phone call to go back down to reception again to collect them. The rooms need some care given to them and the hand towels were really past it!

- Hygienes minder, dus minpunt.
Anonymous For people with limited budget, backpacker or not really demanding
6.0
+ Despite of the noisy street night fight at the area around , not bad situated at all, just 10 minutes walking to the main places.
- Very poor sprung mattress, need urgently to be replace Doesn´t exist shower curtain. Traffic noise early in the morning, Alex. Maax street side rooms

+ (1) cheap option to stay in Brussels (2) in walking distance to the North-Station (about 200m), Metrostation Rogier at the frontdoor (3) more or less in the city center
- (1) some rooms are very small, some rooms have no shower just bathtubes (2) the breakfast is very very basic and continental (3) you hear everything from the rooms around you (concl) What you get is a room, a bed, and some food. But the price is ok for that.
6.8
+ leuke prijs
- erg lawaaiig ,kleine douche
Peter Niet helemaal voor herhaling vatbaar
6.4
3.8
+ hotel ligt heerlijk centraal
7.8
+ prima badkamer; ligging qua uitstapjes perfect.
Anonymous Middelmatig basis hotel
5.6
+ Centrale ligging.
- Ontbijt zeer karig.

Zelfs tweehonderd passen lijkt me een optimistische schatting.
