The hotel was built in 1683 and in those times it was used as the village inn. The inn was rented for longer periods to different guests. In 1850 the hotel was named after Jan Bom, who rented the hotel for a whole year. Since that time the hotel has underwent many changes until the hotel became what it is now. Many aspects are still nostalgic, but the hotel is completely of our time. The hotel is located on the island of Schouwen-Duiveland and is surrounded by a beautiful nature reserve.
Hotel Bomb is a great starting point for both sportive and tourist guests. Many aquatics can be practiced near the hotel, such as kite and wind surfing and waterskiing. For walkers and cyclists, there are several routes to get acquainted with the environment of Burgh Haamstede. For leisure guests the beach is nearby and there are several cities that are easily accessible and definitely worth visiting, such as Zierikzee.
The rooms in Hotel Bom offer all comforts and conveniences you need during your stay. The ambiance of the old village inn is certainly reflected in the rooms. The Delta Park Neeltje Jans should certainly not be missed during your stay. For young and old there is plenty to do. On the island of Schouwen-Duiveland, Burgh Haamstede is not the only town. You can also visit other cities like Zierikzee, Brouwershaven and Dreischor. Via the Oosterscheldekering you'll reach the cities Vlissingen and Middelburg within the blink of an eye.
