Hotel De Torenhoeve can be found in the village Burgh-Haamstede in one of the most scenic areas in the Netherlands. The dunes and the beach are within walking distance. Guests can enjoy the space and the peaceful natural surroundings. A warm and hospitable atmosphere characterize De Torenhoeve.

'Restaurant Torenhoeve' is established in an atmospheric dune farm that dates back to 1820. From the outside terrace and the conservatory guests can enjoy the view of the lighthouse. On the menu one can find dishes that are mostly prepared with local ingredients and seasonal products, such as fish and beef. The menu changes regularly. It is recommended to make reservations. Opening hours restaurant: November through to March: Thu/Fri from 17:00 until 21:00 h., Sat/Sun from 12:00 until 21:00 h. April through to June: Wed/Thu from 17:00 until 21:00 h., Fr/Sat/Sun from 12:00 until 21:00 h. July and August: Tue until Sun from 12:00 until 21:00 h. September and October: Wed/Thu from 17:00 until 21:00 h., Fr/Sat/Sun from 12:00 until 21:00 h.

In the hotel guests can make free use of wireless internet with their own laptop. A public computer is also available at an additional charge.
Other information
- The hotel does not have a 24-hour reception. Guests can check in at the reception until 17:00 h. and until 21:00 h. at the restaurant when open. Guests that like to check in after 21:00 h., need to contact the reception in advance.
- An additional bed can be placed on request in the hotel room for €50 a night.
- The hotel does not offer special rooms for guests with a disability.
- A maximum of one pet can stay in a room for €12.50 a night.

Surroundings
Hotel De Torenhoeve lies on the western side of the island 'Schouwen-Duiveland' in the nature reserve of Westenschouwen. Visitors can enjoy 330 hectares of trees, sand paths, dunes and far stretching views of the sea. Between the islands 'Schouwen-Duiveland' and 'Noord-Beveland' lies the impressive 'Oosterscheldekering', one of the impressive Delta Works. Those who would like to learn more about this structure can pay a visit to the information centre 'Neeltje Jans'.

PLEASE NOTE: On Monday in high season and on Monday and Tuesday in the other periods, the reception is closed at 5 pm. You will find a note on the door with a phone number you can call. Within 5 minutes someone will be available to open the door.
