The 3-star Strandhotel De Horn is quietly located in natural surroundings in the cosy village Callantsoog. From the hotel it is just a 5-minute stroll to the North Sea coast. In the centre of Callantsoog there are several restaurants and cosy cafés with an outside terrace. Throughout the holiday season one can regularly enjoy events in the village.

Surroundings
During a stay at the Strandhotel De Horn guests can enjoy nature and peace of the cosy village Callantsoog. About 2 kilometres from the hotel lies the 'Zwanenwater', a beautiful nature area with dunes, grassland, heath, woods and two huts for bird watching. The beach is within a 5-minute stroll. By car you can easily reach Den Helder, where the ferry boats leave to the island of Texel. A visit to the cheese market in Alkmaar is also one of the possibilities for a day trip.
Food and Drinks
From Monday to Friday breakfast buffet is available from 07:00 to 10:30 h. Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 to 10:30 h. The hotel does not have its own restaurant. In the centre of Callantsoog one can find several places to enjoy a dinner.

No restaurant however couple of restaurants in the village 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Hotel bar open only till 10:30 PM. Few hundreds meters to the beach.
