Description
The Bedstay has beautiful rooms including a spacious family room for small families. This room offers a double bed and two single beds. Furthermore, all rooms are provided with a flatscreen television and wireless Internet. The bathroom offers a shower and toilet. The standard Bedstay rooms come with two single box spring beds.
De Valsteeg is a hamlet consisting of seven rural homes. The majority of the inhabitants are self-employed and will also offer you a warm welcome. For instance, you can come and have a look in the furniture-making shop with antique and pinewood furniture. There is also an all-round painter in De Valsteeg, who is happy to organise one of her painting workshops, on request.
The Kookpub (cooking pub) has a pleasant and spacious kitchen on the ground floor. You can only make use of this kitchen under supervision. It features a reading/dining table where you can relax with a good book or enjoy a delicious, fresh breakfast. It is also possibility to reserve a 2 or 3-course evening dinner or a knapsack for on the road.

You can enjoy breakfast each morning from 08:00 - 10:00. De Bedstay Dalen does not have a bar or restaurant, however you can order dinner in advance.

- De Bedstay does not have a 24-hour reception. Guests can check-in from 16:00 - 18:00 h. Please contact the reception in advance if you expect to arrive later.

Surroundings
Dalen is characterised by typical Drenthe farms. The rural surroundings are great for walking or cycling. The fortified town of Coevorden is only a short distance away, and Emmen with its famous Dierenpark Emmen zoo is just 15 km from De Bedstay.
