Mooirivier is centrally located in the Vecht region in the province of Overijssel. On foot, by bike or with a canoe you can explore the natural surroundings. The area offer woods, open fields and marshes. You are recommended to follow the bicycle route along castles and country estates. In the area you can also visit several beautiful buildings, such as the historic city gate of Zwolle, the Sassenpoort.

The breakfast buffet is set up on weekdays from 07:00 to 10:00 h. and in the weekend from 08:00 to 11:00 h. in the restaurant.
Guests can enjoy lunch an dinner here with many fresh and regional ingredients. At Brasserie Aan de Oever you can have a nice dinner and with nice weather you can enjoy your dinner or drinks at the atmospheric terrace with a view over the Vecht. The hotel also has a cosy Grand Café.

Hotel Mooirivier Dalfsen is situated in the valley of the Vecht river. The surroundings are perfect for long hikes or cycle tours. National reserve De Sallandse Heuvelrug is unique for its lovely hills, woods and stretched heathlands. Various hilltops offer a magnificent panorama of the vicinity. A visit to the nearby castle Kasteel Rechteren is definitely worth a visit as well. This is the only medieval castle in the region where one can still admire the original castle-tower and residential part.
