Hotel Manofa ist in einem stattlichen, alten Gebäude am Damrak, im Herzen Amsterdams, ansässig. In dem eigenen, italienischen Restaurant können Gäste köstlich speisen. Da das Hotel viele verschiedene Zimmertypen hat, eignet es sich für Gruppen aller Art.

Hotel Manofa liegt an dem lebendigen Damrak, nur einen Steinwurf von dem Dam, der Kalverstraat und zahlreichen anderen Attraktionen, die Amsterdam so besonders machen, entfernt. Das Hotel verbindet die Eleganz des 18.Jahrhunderts mit modernem Komfort.

Das Hotel hat viele, unterschiedliche Zimmer. Die meisten haben ein eigenes Badezimmer. Bei den “Basic”-Zimmern befinden sich die sanitären Einrichtungen jedoch auf dem Gang. Bügeleisen, Föhne und Fernsehbedienungen sind bei der Rezeption erhältlich. Auch gibt es hier Schliessfächer, die die Gäste nutzen können.

Speisen und Getränke

Das Frühstück wird täglich von 08:00 bis 10:00 Uhr serviert. Von 10:00 bis 24:00 können die Gäste in dem italienischen Spezialitätenrestaurant De Markies einkehren. Hotelgäste kriegen einen Rabatt. In der Bar oder auf der Terrasse kann man sich bei einem Snack oder Gläschen erholen.

Bei der Rezeption stehen den Gästen zwei Computer mit Internetanschluss zur Verfügung.

Goede prijs/kwaliteit, perfecte ligging

5 persoonskamer wat de kosten voor een groep drukt. Budgetkamers ook erg goedkoop, wat dit hotel perfect geschikt maakt voor een goedkope stedentrip! Locatie is naast dit ook perfect.

Minutes from Amsterdam center and Central Station.

Tiny rooms, tiny beds, steep stairs and a 3% surcharge payable on credit cards. More like staying in an expensive hostel that a hotel.

Near train station

1.The PM receptionist was professional and courteous 2. walking distance from the train station 3. Buffet breakfast

1.The AM receptionist was rude and unwelcoming. He should not be put in a front desk. 2.You have to carry your luggage through a long flight of stairs before getting to reception, then they might put you in 4th floor which is another 3 floors up. They have no lift. 3. The wall paper and paint are dirty.

Our fist time in Amsterdam

The hotel was in an ideal location approx 5 mins from Central station and was just around the corner from Dam square. It had an en suite bathroom, was very clean. It was our first time in Amsterdam and we did enjoy the City we will be visiting again.

The wardrobe door was off and put in a corner. The room badly needed decorating. With the hotel being in a good location it was quite noisy at four in the morning.

Superb hotel for catching some zzz'z while partying in Amsterdam

Stayed 5 to a room on a stag night, room was just big enough to put five beds in but if your just after somewhere to get your head down and grab a shower you can't ask for anything more...clean tidy comfy with ensuite bathroom and fun times of Amsterdam right outside the front door...brilliant, will be back no question.

De ligging van het hotel was goed, in het centrum.

de kamer was oud en versleten de douche was smerig vol haren de service slecht, want de eigenaar zijn chinese verstaan je slecht.

You get what you pay for!

Very reasonably priced hotel.

Great location but poorly signed. You can only see the hotel signs from a distance and there is no sign at ground floor level at the front door. Also in tghe ensuite bathroom you have to walk through the wet floor of the shower to get to the toilet or sink.

GOOD & CHEAP!!!

If you want budget, a bed and a roof over your head, then this is for you. If you want luxurious then go and pay more. This is a cosy b&b, and well worth the money.

Excellent location

Dangerous stairs, hotel in need of some work. Misleading internet picture. Old building noisy heating system. Room i stayed in was tiny with broken fixtures and only the light over the sink worked. Cheap but still should be cheaper for the standard offered.

Only location. Very near to Central Station.

Very noisy all night. Old entrance doors are banging and stairs are squeaking just in front of my room. Draught comes in. Price doesn't pay to its quality.

Pefect location but not a good hotel experience for me

The staff at the hotel were very helpful with train times etc. I could leave my bag there on the last day after checking out until my time to travel home which was very convenient. Breakfast served in the downstairs resturaunt was great. Very nice staff there.

I stayed in room 112 which is a single room and I was staying in the hotel by myself. It was not what I expected. There was a hole in the ceiling over my bed where I could see wires. There was a another hole in the ceiling towards the end of my bed which had a pipe about 15 cms in diameter. I did not know where the pipe led to but there was occassional dirt and pebbles that fell through making me feel nervous of where they were coming from. The bathroom was not comfortable place as the shower head was old and scummy and the taps also had green scum around them which made me question the the detail to hygiene in the hotel. The hotel is a noisy place, perhaps in particular my room number 112 where there was a stair case and fire door which I could hear being slammed etc throughout the night.

Ligging is zeer centraal

Echt een backpackers hotel. Kamers vies en alles defect. Geblakerde, beschreven meubels en muren, badkamer stonk naar riool. Erg ongezellige, donkere kleine kamer. s'-nachts veel overlast van bezoekers coffeeshop beneden. Continue wiet-lucht in de kamer. Gebeten door beestjes (vlooien???) Dit hotel zou ik niet aanraden bij Nederlanders. Wij zijn na 1 nacht vertrokken, hadden voor 3 nachten geboekt. Geen geld retour gekregen. Heel slecht!

* ligging is super * bed was schoon * genieten van de reuring van a*dam. Kom je voor je rust kan je beter op zoek naar iets in de bossen.

* Manofa is meer een hostel dan een hotel. Als je je dat beseft bij het boeken, wordt je niet teleurgesteld.

Cheap and good location but barebones room

The location is fantastic, 250-300 meters from Centraal Station on Damrak. The free breakfast (included in cost of room) is decent and saves an easy 6-8 Euros per person. The is free internet in the lobby, though you might have to wait a while for it.

The double room is not an ideal layout, but it isn't much of an issue. The TV only had 2 or 3 english channels, but you shouldn't be watching TV in Amsterdam. Some might not be comfortable leaving their key at the desk when leaving, but it's nothing to worry about.
