Thanks to its fantastic location right in the city centre, B&B Old City is a great base for exploring Amsterdam and its numerous interesting sights. The B&B is just a 10-minute walk from the Central Station. From Dam Square tram lines 16 and 24 leave frequently for the Museum Square and its three famous museums.

Less than 200 metres from Old City Bed & Breakfast Amsterdam lies one of the most famous Amsterdam squares: Dam Square. Around the square are some of Amsterdam's biggest attractions located, such as Madame Tussauds, the Royal Palace and the National Monument. Those who love shopping only have to walk a few minutes to the luxurious shopping centre Magna Plaza, the Bijenkorf department store or the Kalverstraat shopping street. In the area surrounding Old City B&B are cosy restaurants, bars and terraces. Around the famous squares Rembrandtplein and Leidseplein are numerous entertainment venues as well. Amsterdam offers dozens of larger and smaller museums, ranging from the famous Rijksmuseum and the Van Goghmuseum around the Museumplein, the impressive Hermitage Museum on the Amstel river, and the Anne Frankhuis in de popular neighbourhood De Jordaan, to Museum Amstelkring in Amsterdam's famous Red Light District.
