House of Literature
The House of Literature in Antwerp is the museum for Flemish literature. The collection includes about two million letters and manuscripts of writers, as well as archives of publishers, literary clubs and magazines. The House of Literature also owns 130,000 photographs and 40,000 posters and has an extensive collection of cutting files. Some highlights from the collection are the manuscripts and archives of William Elsschot and Louis Paul Boon.
Besides holding exhibitions, some other literary activities organized by the House of Literature are poetry readings, workshops and book presentations. The House of Literature also publishes own works.
