Photo Museum Antwerp
The Photo Museum displays a variety of historical objects and photographs. The museum also houses the Antwerp Film Museum. Besides the permanent collection there are also temporary exhibitions of contemporary Belgian and international photographers.
The Photo Museum is located on the Waalsekaai opposite the Water Gate in the Antwerp district South. The warehouse that had housed the museum has been expanded with new buildings designed by architect Georges Baines. The Photo Museum works closely together with the Museum of Contemporary Art Antwerp. The Film Museum regularly shows films.
