Gruuthusemuseum in Bruges
The Gruuthusemuseum in Bruges is situated in a 15th century city palace on the canal De Dijver.
The museum has an extensive collection of visual arts from the hey-day of Bruges. In the museum are a large collection of woodcarving, furniture, weapons, musical instruments and Bruges tapestries. One of the eye-catchers of the museum is the bust of emperor Charles V. Another highlight is the honorary room 'Erezaal' with tapestries and richly decorated beams.
