City by the Sea - Ostend
Ostend does not only have a rich past, the cosmopolitan seaside resort on the Flemish coast offers much contemporary entertainment as well. The city with most notably the famous Casino Kursaal has a great nightlife, nice restaurants, cafes and terraces and fantastic shopping opportunities. Ostend - also known as City by the Sea - is the largest city on the Belgian coast. It is easily accessible by car and it has a seaport, a marina and an international airport.
