Aqua Zoo Friesland Leeuwarden
Aqua Zoo Friesland is located just outside Leeuwarden in the northeastern part of the Netherlands. The Zoo's emphasis is on water: it offers seas, rivers, lakes and swamps. Visitors can make a wet journey past the many animal species such as penguins, otters, pelicans, beavers, racoons, sea lions, as well as ocelots, capybaras and crocodiles. For children there is also plenty to enjoy in the park. They can pet and cuddle animals at the children's zoo. Or they can make an exciting Zoo Quest along the occupants of the park.
