Hotel Aan de Wymerts is a nice hotel with welcoming and friendly staff. It is located in the centre of Workum, within walking distance of charming terraces and restaurants, in beautiful surroundings. Workum is one of the towns where the famous Frisian Elfstedentocht passes. The town has its own train station within a fifteen minute walk reach of Hotel Aan de Wymerts. Workum train station is located along the railway line between Leeuwarden and Stavoren.

Umgebung
Opposite Hotel Aan de Wymerts is the Jopie Huisman Museum. This Dutch painter and illustrator painted everything that appealed to him scrupulously. You can try the 25-kilometre cycling routep past all the places that influenced his work. The charming water sports town of Sneek is less than a 30-minute drive from the hotel and the town of Stavoren is also worth visiting. Skating fans can visit the First Friesian Skating Museum in Hindeloopen.
