Surroundings
Hotel Texel is located near De Koog and De Cocksdorp, in the northern part of the island. The villages offer nice outdoor cafés and restaurants and a 9-holes golf course is nearby as well. The beach is situated at about 3.5 kilometres from the hotel. In the village De Koog one can visit Ecomare, the centre for the wadden islands and the North Sea, which houses such amenities as a seal sanctuary and a nature historic museum. Visitors also have access to the dunes at De Koog. You can also follow the 6 kilometre long walking trail on the hotel's estate.
