Hotel Friends Texel is located very centrally, close to shopping, the beach and near the entertainment center. De Koog lies on the westside of Texel and is one of the oldest villages of the island. It is the seaside resort of the island and lies just two rows of dunes from the North Sea. The hotel has simple but clean double rooms, equipped with a washbasin and television, wireless internet, coffee and tea making facilities, 2 folding chairs and a folding table. The shower and toilet are in the hall. Two bath robes for guests are supplied in each room.
Hotel Friends Texel is a hospitable and homey low-budget hotel with a friendly atmosphere. The brown cafe is open 7 days a week throughout the year. Here you can get a nice cup of coffee and a newspaper, special Texel drinks or special, friendly priced shooters. And when the sun shines you can also enjoy it on the terrace,
In high season there might be some noise nuisance from the street and the cafe on the ground floor. During this period there will also be young people staying at the hotel.
Food and Drinks
Between 09:00 and 10:00 h. you can take breakfast. Please note that this is only served in July and August.
At Café Friends you can order a lovely cup of coffee, cappuccino or espresso and sit at the reading table with a newspaper. Until late at night it is also possible to have a local drink or one of the very affordable shooters and cocktails with a snack.
The outdoor terrace is a lovely spot to enjoy the sun.

Surroundings
Texel is the largest island in the Wadden Sea and is ideal for recreation. You can enjoy cycling and hiking and adventurous guests can even go skydiving. The National Park Dunes of Texel has a vast dune area that almost covers all Texel dunes. The landscape is varied, with the sea and the beach, dunes and woods. In the area many plants and animal species can be found and Texel is also popular among fowlers.
