De Koog is a sparkling coastal village in the western part of Texel. The many restaurants, cafes and nightlife area guarantees a comfortable stay in the small village. The island itself is a community and the largest of the Dutch Wadden Islands. Texel has a diverse scenery with dunes, polders (reclaimed land), heath land, forests and sandy beaches. The restaurant seats up to 80 guests and is open from Monday to Sunday between 18:00 and 21:00h. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can also be served at the outside terrace, if the weather permits. The Grand Café forms a suitable backdrop for a special beer from Texel or a good conversation. The Grand Café is open between 08:00 and 22:30 from Sunday to Thursday, on Fridays and Saturdays the Grand Café is open until 23:30h.
