Hotel De Havixhorst in De Schiphorst is truly something special. There are eight suites with varying appearance and atmosphere. Dine in style in one of Holland?s top restaurants, and you don?t even have to leave the hotel! The herbs used in the dishes, but also the fresh flowers in the restaurant are produced in the garden. In the direct vicinity the vegetables are grown especially for the hotel and also the game comes out of this neighbourhood. The extraordinary dishes are served on shiny china with impeccable silverware. The manager is a viticulturist and stores his treasures in the private wine cellar. Naturally, only wines that really suit the dishes are served here.

Surroundings
The stork breeding centre 'de Lokkerij' is located close to hotel de Havixhorst. Storks can be admired here all year round. In summertime there are no less than a few hundred birds grazing the farmlands of the 'Reesdal'. In wintertime some tens of storks can be found here.
