OK, but could be better
–
In Standard room, single bed - with wheels - not comfortable at all when bed kept moving. No complimentary water.
To get from the reception to the rooms one must go down and up stairs with heavy luggage. This totally spoilt the stay as it was difficult carrying heavy luggage down & up stairs. Unacceptable.

De Biltsche Hoek: comfortable and convenient location
+
We have been staying at hotel De Biltsche Hoek several times as it iis very near to my mother's care home and we have always found it very comfortable with a good self service breakfast bar.
This time we also had an evening meal in the restaurant which was excellent followed by a drink in the very comfortable bar.
The staff was very attentive and courteous.
–
The shower cubicle in our bathroom had a broken hinge making the door difficult to open and the plughole was blocked.
We felt this time that the room and the corridors looked a bit shabby and in need of refurbishment.

Basic business hotel at central location. Good value for money.
+
15' from the inner city of Utrecht. Easy access to major highways. Good breakfast. Clean, adequate room. Make sure to request a room at the quiet side of the hotel, or you will be overlooking a highway.
–
Basic hotel, no frills. Part of an inunspired hotel chain.

Hotel rooms are outside building with reception and breakfast facilities.
Front office wants to know all about guest's identity if booked over Hotels.nl. Front desk officer asked double photo identity card (passport + drivers licence or other photo identity card) and credit card (American Express).

Excellent and friendly reception in the evening.Large room and bathroom, good beds. Very nice supper.
–
(too)long walk to the room from the entrance.Had to search for staff to pay supper! The wake-up call did not happen! Noisy from traffic at night.Poor shower, needs renovation.
The arrival of the taxi that I had ordered was not announced to me because they did not check, so I have been waiting while he was waiting aswell. So, overall bad organisation of service I think, allthough friendly and googwilling staff.

Nice but noisy
+
Nice, clean, spacious room and bathroom. Good selection at breakfast.
–
Traffic noise is very loud. Coffee and tea making facilities would be appreciated. Its quite a way to walk from the reception to the rooms, with several stairs up and down, so it is quite difficult with suitcases.
