Description
Times long gone are revived in Hotel De Zwaan. A magnificent tile floor, colourful stained-glass windows and stylish wall paintings can be admired in the hotel's entrance hall. Many authentic elements are combined successfully with modern conveniences. The hotel is located in the centre of the fortified town of Delden. Many fun shops, galleries and narrow alleys can be found within walking distance. The adjacent country estate 'Twickel' is the perfect backdrop for a nice walk through the gardens. The beautiful scenery, stretched woods and atmospheric villages in this region can be easily explored by bike.
All ingredients for a pleasant stay are present in Hotel De Zwaan. Guests can dine heartily in the 'Brasserie' or unwind in the historic ambience of the barroom. On bright days the cosy outside terrace will be open too. The 10 hotel rooms are comfortably equipped with a shower and toilet, television, telephone, radio alarm clock and free access to wireless Internet. From June 2010 all rooms have new furniture and televisions.
Food and Drinks
The continental breakfast is served to the table on weekdays from 07:00 to 10:00 h. and on weekends from 08:00 to 11:00 h.
The hotel has a Brasserie and a cosy outdoor terrace. Apart from the à la carte menu there is also a wide range of small snacks with a Mediterranean touch. One can put together their own favourite lunch, dinner or snack. The kitchen brigade will gladly take into account any dietary preferences.

Guests with a laptop can use the wireless Internet connection in all rooms and in the restaurant free of charge.

- The hotel does not have a 24-hour reception. Guests can check in until 00:00 h.

Surroundings
Hotel De Zwaan is surrounded by wonderful nature. While cycling along one of the many winding paths, you will pass through woods, pastures and picturesque villages. The scenery is slightly slanting. On a rainy day a visit to the salt museum in Delden is definitely recommended. A lot can be learned here about the history of saltmaking in the 'Twente' region.
