China Hotel Holland Delft offers an oasis of tranquillity in a very modern and comfortable environment. The hotel is easily accessible because of its proximity to the A13 and A4 motorways, yet it is quietly located on the edge of a lovely park. Its central location in the heart of the conurbation Randstad makes the hotel very suitable for business travellers. Apart from several party and meeting rooms, the hotel has a very special feature: seven private karaoke rooms that can accommodate all sorts of parties. This guarantees a unique night out with friends, colleagues or business relations.

The rooms are furnished with all modern amenities. They are provided with a marble bathroom with a bath, separate shower and a hair dryer. In addition, the rooms are equipped with a large bed, flatscreen television, comfortable air chairs, minibar, safe and air conditioning. Guest may use the sauna and gym of the adjacent Active Health Centre Ypenburg for €10 a time.

Food and Drinks

The extensive breakfast buffet is set up daily between 07:00 and 11:00 h.
Guests may enjoy a mixture of traditional Chinese dishes and contemporary culinary specialties in the Royal China Restaurant. They can choose between a versatile buffet or the à la carte menu. The hotel has several private dining rooms as well, with a capacity of 15 to a maximum of 60 people.
The Beijing Lounge is a comfortable place with an informal atmosphere where one can order bites and beverages or light meals. There is also a wide selection of hand-made sigars to choose from, which can be lighted on the spacious heated terrace.

Surroundings

The historical city centre of Delft is truely very picturesque. It was therefore with good reason that Vermeer represented it in one of his loveliest and most famous paintings View of Delft, that can be admired in the Mauritshuis museum in The Hague. You can learn everything about the life and works of this Dutch painter in the Vermeer Centre on the Voldersgracht in Delft.

Anonymous Ok if you take your own food and drink!: 20 July 2011; 4.6; + Good quality rooms; - No coffee in room, only tea. No bar, no restaurant, in the middle of nowhere with only a mcdonalds to eat at.

(50/65 EUR) Unpleasant surprise! Parties on 1st floor lasted till 1am making sleeping a real challenge. Receptionist preferred 15 min discussion with cleaning ladies instead of checking us out. Check the bed in the room before asking for extra child bed as in this hotel king size bed is described as twin bed. Bed is comfortable and parking is free

Joseph Newcomb Convenience in Delft: 21 February 2011; 7.6; + The staff is what won me over. Everyone was very friendly, service with a smile, respectful. Loved the parking I was able to park the van and not have to worry about it. Room was clean and comfortable. I wanted a place near Delft city center and I was able to walk there in about 25min. When I go back to Holland I will be staying at the China Hotel.; - Biggest negative was the breakfast, it was 25 EU for two people. The first day we thought perhaps we got down to the kitchen late because the food was stale the breads were hard, cheese dry and little selection. It was the same the next morning. Definitely not worth the price. Next time I'll go to the McDonalds' down the road. Even though the staff was wonderful there was not enough people staffing the front desk during morning check out. I was in a hurry to leave but the checkout took 20mins.

Anonymous Think twice before going there: 12 November 2010; 3.8; + Location and nothing else.; - Pretends to be a luxorious hotel. But it is very unnice to find somebody's hair in the bath tub! Were trying to charge me for breakfast which was paid when making a reservation. Also I didn't receive the tickets that were in the hotel offer. Very dissapointed after visit.

Leah Good weekend offer: 1 November 2010; 7.8; + Price offer is great, I personally liked the welcoming assistance from the stuff. They had a fridge in the room, a desk and a big TV. It was also nice to have croissants for breakfast.; - Got twin room instead of a booked double and it was not allowed to move the beds together. Also we could hear a neighbor snoring.

Qulaity of the hotel was excellent and design and attention to detail in the hotel was brilliant. Nice to have the chinese theme. Excellent access from the motorway for driving to the beach / Hague and Amsterdam and bus down the road to get into Delft centre for Â£1.50; - If only staying one night at the weekend check if there is an event on as you'll not get much sleep if there is. Sound proofing not great with the kareoke etc but otherwise excellent stay!!

Only apple computers for guests to use and difficult to operate for PC users. Very Chinese! Most TV stations in Chinese. Some employees had trouble with English. Bar was not staffed regularly. Inadequate choice of wines. Had a loud ethnic wedding with the music near the elevator shaft that carried to all floors until late hours one night. The location is not convenient to Delft City Center. Only 4 KM but alot of traffic and not a direct walk.

MARK SOMMER Good Value: 4 April 2010; 7.2; + The rooms were good value and clean and we went to Macdonalds for breakfast which is 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Delft is really nice but the hotel is too far to walk so cabs cost 18 euros each way. I would stay here again as the price was really good for this quality hotel rooms.; - bar seemed unorganised and cabs are expensive if you want to go to Delft and drink in one of the many bars as there is nothing else near the hotel

Alina Turcitu Good services: 4 August 2009; 8.8; + The hotel deserves its 4 stars, the services are really good, is very clean and the staff is very polite. The location is not very good, we spent more then 30 minutes in Delft to find it, there is no signage or any outdoor to point you in the hotel direction. But if you have a GPS we'll be no problems.

Anna Maria NICE hotel... BAD location! HORRIBLE service! EXTREMELY rude staff!: 4 August 2009; 6.2; + The hotel had many facilities and was very comfotable. The food was okay.; - The location wasn't very good, had to take every morning an every-30-minutes bus to the centre (it took 15 minutes). The staff was very badly organized and some members were very rude. We were required to pay the whole fee for the stay as soon as we arrived, it never happened in any other hotel!The waiter, additionally very old, that served us in the restaurant the only 2 times we went was very rude, and in addition told us to pay for the food before even eating it and when while eating we ordered a beer he made us stop to take the money out and pay for it! But what most shocked and disgusted us is that we missed the return flight because, even if we had asked to, nobody informed us that the taxi that we had reserved, through the hotel, the previous evening had arrived... and left, the person that was responsible of the reception at that moment was a member of the security... he was EXTREMELY rude, he said that either we waited for the next taxi that would arrive in 15 minutes or sit down and be quiet! Finally the taxi arrived but it was too late: we missed the train for the airport and missed the flight back.This is unbelievable! We hold the hotel responsible for all of the problems that this event caused!We will not hesitate on giving negative feedbacks on every website where the hotel is sponsored!

It was very clean, and a very enjoyable experience, and given the deals available, I would consider staying with them again.; - If there was any side that was not quite up to scratch, I felt it was breakfast. For me I enjoy most Chinese food and always enjoy trying a wider range,but my wife is not quite such a big fan of the meal, was struggling to find more westernised food and I would say in conclusion there was a slight overemphasis on Chinese food at the breakfast table, but I personally enjoyed it.
