The distinguished Carlton Ambassador Hotel lies on the edge of the centre of The Hague in the peaceful district Mesdagkwartier. The boutique style hotel is situated in a beautiful building on the stately Sophialaan. Weather permitting you can enjoy a snack or drink on the terrace. Several nice museums, galleries and theatres are within walking distance. Since the hotel lies in a quiet area you won't be disturbed by the busy traffic of the city centre.
The hotel has 78 luxurious rooms that are divided into several room types. All rooms have a desk with a comfortable chair and wireless internet. The rooms have box-spring beds and special NASA-foam mattresses, that provide a comfortable night's sleep. The lavish bathrooms all have a bath, shower, toilet and complementary shower accessories.
Food and Drinks
The breakfast is served on weekdays from 06:30 until 10:00 h. and on the weekend between 07:00 and 10:30 h.
The hotel has its own excellent restaurant and a lounge. The kitchen staff prepare delicious seasonal dishes. You could let the staff surprise you with a culinary three or five course meal called De Proeverij. Through the French doors you have a beautiful view of the terrace in front of the hotel. Next to the hotel is a lounge where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in front of the fire place. The restaurant is open daily from 07:00 until 21:30 h. In the Bar-Bisto Rubens you find the most extensive collection of whiskey's in The Hague. The staff will be very happy to highlight all the different options. With its nice atmosphere the bistro is very suitable for an informal dinner. You can take a daily changing three course menu, or choose dishes from the open grill. A selection of snacks is available as well. The bar is open daily between 17:00 and 01:00 h.; on Sunday the bar-bistro is closed.

- The Carlton Ambassador hotel has limited parkingspaces, we can reserve these parkingspaces for our guest for €15 per day. (maximum of 24 hours). It is also possible to park in the vicinity of the hotel, the costs are €1,70 per hour, from Monday till Friday (09:00 till 17:00 h).
