  • (Families with older children)
  • + Excelent located. It is smal apartment in the attach-house. A lot of space, comfortable furniture, big king bed . We spent 3 nights. Kitchen was enough equiped. Cleaning service was daily. Everything was good. Even birds singing in the morning.
  • When we arrived It seemed the room is a little dirty and it smelled. But It was only by first time.
  • * my tip the nearest supermarket(AH- Albert Heim) is beside the church

Quality and friendly atmosphere
  • + There is a great deal of quality at Hotel la Ville. The cost is reasonable considering the fact that it is near the office of the Queen. I did enjoy my stay and thank you for your wonderful service.
  • * my tip I experienced friendly atmosphere at the local bars near Hotel la Ville!

  • (Young couples)
Great hotel for couples, I had a very nice time
  • + Great room, modern in contrast with the old facade of the building; great location - right in the city center, close to many restaurant and public transport, although the walk to the central station is very nice. Very nice service and employees - helpful with recommendations of restaurants, events and places to see in the city.

  • (Travelling alone)
Charming little hotel with character
  • + Excellent breakfast. The owner and front-desk staff are outstanding -- helpful, friendly, efficient, & knowledgeable. The cleaning crew are pleasant and very thorough. Great location, and many interesting restaurants near-by.
  • There are only very, very minor criticisms. 1, The breakfast starts at 7:30 -- earlier would be more useful. 2, The soundproofing on the street-side is not particularly good; altho the street has little traffic, there are two bars near the hotel and so there is a bit of rowdy noise until late. 3, A local area map would certainly help -- perhaps one could be mounted in the lobby area?? The local streets are not all on a grid plan, some of them meander, so directions are always difficult if on
  • * my tip Enjoy.

Super comfortable, clean & friendliest staff in town. That's valua
  • + The friendliest staff I have encountered in The Hague. I usually stay in big four star hotels but due to late reservation I chose something 'different' and will come and stay there next time I visit.

Friendly small hotel in heart of the Hague.
  • + Extremely pleasant stay. Very friendly and accomodating staff, large bright rooms, good value for money and location could not be better. This was my second stay and I will return. Excellent for a business stay and for a city break.
  • none
  • * my tip Because of its great location, there is a night 'buzz'...so if you need quiet..ask for a room in the rear...if you enjoy a more social vibe, ask for a room in the front.

Business on a budget: a warm, welcoming home from home.
  • + I really cannot fault my short overnight stay at Hotel La Ville, which was perfect for me. Only 4 stops on the tram 17 from Den Haag train station, the hotel's location, bordering the Royal Palace gardens and close to a charming area of cafes, bars and shops. Special mention to Basil, Didi & the team for their lovely warm welcome and extra special service.

Veru pleasant stay at the Hague
  • + Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast. And the bar beside the hotel is also nice. The room was clean.
  • I stayed at a single room with shared bathroom. I don't know how the rest of hotel is, but this part has a really steep staircase. So thank god I'm healthy ang my luggage wasn't very heavy. The room is also small, but for me had the exact size I needed.

Could do better
  • + A warm welcome, clean bathroom and bedroom, comfortable bed and good breakfast. A very airy and light room.
  • The room I stayed was on the street above the hotel's terrace, which means that it got noisy at night. The sound proofing is poor - you hear every footstep on the landing. The interior design is a clashing mix of high quality, tired furniture and bad taste.

Avoid room No. 3B
  • + The location is almost only 'plus point'. Sheets and towels were clean. Service was polite.
  • It was probably the worst hotel I'v ever been. On the third floor (room 3B) leads an extremely steep staircase. Carrying suitcases even for young person is difficult. Room is old and ugly. On the walls and ceiling are visible traces of repeated flooding. There are some holes in walls. Kitchen looks unhygienically. In room and bathroom horribly stinks. The tap water is very slowly flowing. Noises from the street and smells from the restaurant are coming whole night. The hotel's restaurant does not look better than room.
