- Could do better
- A warm welcome, clean bathroom and bedroom, comfortable bed and good breakfast. A very airy and light room.
- The room I stayed was on the street above the hotel's terrace, which means that it got noisy at night. The sound proofing is poor - you hear every footstep on the landing. The interior design is a clashing mix of high quality, tired furniture and bad taste.

- Cheap hotel close to city centre
- Nice breakfast buffet in a calm serving area included in price. Close to tram and walking distance from shopping/restaurant area.
- Poor isolation to other rooms, you can hear your neighbor watching TV.

- Avoid room No. 3B
- The location is almost only 'plus point'.
Sheets and towels were clean. Service was polite.
- It was probably the worst hotel I'v ever been. On the third floor (room 3B) leads an extremely steep staircase. Carrying suitcases even for young person is difficult. Room is old and ugly. On the walls and ceiling are visible traces of repeated flooding. There are some holes in walls. Kitchen looks unhygienically. In room and bathroom horribly stinks. The tap water is very slowly flowing. Noises from the street and smells from the restaurant are coming whole night. The hotel's restaurant does not look better than room.

- The room had a kitchenette, and this was very handy (and unexpected). There was a very pleasant (and not very loud) pub next door.
- I had requested a smoking room but when we arrived was told there were no smoking rooms.

- The rooms were large. Didn't feel claustrophobic like I usually do when staying in European hotels.
I appreciated the free internet access.
- My room was over the bar/lounge area. The cigarette smoke did waft up into the room, which was unpleasant for someone who doesn't smoke.

- Due to some mistake in their bookings system I could use a triple room for the price of a single room. The triple room is superb! The location of the hotel is definitely a plus.
- Single rooms have a shared bathroom!
No lift, the stairs are very steep, 60º inclination angle!

- I got bumped from a room to an apartment, so I had a huge space; staff was nice and helpful; location was not bad: walking distance to central Hague and everything that was there; and the room was clean. All in all, though not fancy, very good value for money.
- The apartment had a bit of a "tired" look to it and could do with some refurbishment - carpets and furniture that are past their prime, shower head that could not be oriented properly etc.

- Spacious apartment, kitchen facitilies available and working. Staff was helpful to take the luggage up the steep narrow stairs. The price is good for the great location.
- Smt was noisy with rennovations going on inside the hotel. The room could be better cleaned from hair left by previous guests in the shower cabin and the kitchen. Not all sockets worked, no electricity in the bedroom. The room was chilly - could be freezing in a colder weather. A rack or a towel hook would be a good addition near the shower cabin, as well as a shelf for shampoo, soap, etc. The whole apartment requires rennovation.

- I was not told I would be charged for using the TV but had to pay extra for that in the end. I did not feel like arguing over 6 EUROS but I find it unprofessional, stingy and deceitful.

- The apt/room for 4 people was very large 2 rooms plus kitchen/bath.
- Upon checking out they day before departure the clerk put her finger to her lips and "shusshed" us. I have never had that happen to me at a place of business. "One moment please" or "pardon me for a moment" would have been appropriate.
Heater struggled to keep the rooms warm.

- The room is clean, with great location. Tram stop is just 3 min walk away, and the city centre is 10 min walk away. Toilet/bathroom is quite nice and comfortable (toilet is in the bathroom). Staff is very friendly, esp Martin.
- I had to keep on moving from one apartment/room to another because of double bookings. They can't put me in one room for my entire stay. Also, there was no help in carrying my 2 big suitcases to the rooms (I was usually placed on 3rd floor) eventhough I've requested for lower floors due to my big luggages. Wireless internet connection is very unstable eventhough it was advertised that it was available in every room and I had paid for it online. Not worth paying for it. Kitchennete was not always fully equipped eg. some utensils/pots are so 'used' tht it definitely needs to be thrown away. I always have to ask for a kettle/iron/iron board. There's no phone in the room, so you'd have to go all the way down to request for anything.

- The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The general atmosphere is very relaxed and pleasant. There is interesting art displayed on the walls, and a variety of comfortable seats for breakfast, just having a coffeee or a drink in the evening.
- During the heat wave, in June, it was quite hot in the room. If one has to keep the window open, then the traffic outside can be quite noisy.

- Even though I managed somehow to get my suitcase up to the 3rd floor, there was NO CHANCE that I caould to that downwords on my way out (without brakeing my neck), BUT, there was a really nice and helpfull guy working at the reception who came upstairs and solved my problem bringing the suitecase down. So - the service was more then excelente and willing to help - thank you, i'll never forget it. The room was VERY spacious and nicce looking, and the breakfast buffe wasnt the dull usual one, but it had some creativity in it's concept which i liked. So - install and ELEVATOR, and you'll have a BEAUTIFULL hotel :-)
- The ONLY thing which is deffinitelly, utterly and absolutely wrong in your hotel are the horribley steep and curvet STAIRS! I was so thrilled when I came to the receprion cause i liked the location, the dinning room and all, but when I opened the doors of the pavilion 8, and saw the scary stairs (and I was on the 3rd floor :-) with a really havey suitecase)...i almose fainted :-)

- Neighbourhood in the direction of the centre was very convenient; to the other direction was a bit scary.
Overall, price and location were quite reasonable, but would never stay here again...very poorly operated.
- We stayed in one of the apartments - while very spacious, overall feeling was that the place was dirty. Shower stall and sink was in one bedroom, very small W/C in the former hallway...very awkward layout. One of two kitchens was curtained off and 'under construction' - seems permanent. Potentially a very nice room but needs a major renovation.
Breakfast was 20 minutes late (we were rushing to catch a flight and this was not a welcome development).

- Very central and near trams and main sites etc.
Friendly staff and artistic i.e. the art on the walls and combined gallery/dinning room!
- No airconditioning and we were staying during some of the hottest days of the year.
There are very steep stairs to top floor and no lift but that is typically Dutch as this hotel is above a small bar which spills out on to the pavement and the original building is probably quite old.
