Simply the Best
Location, Historical landmark, very quiet still at the heart of the city, next to museums, shops and best restaurants in the Hague.
top location, quality and services
excellent location, facilities and warm and efficient service at all levels
one has to appreciate the heavy decoration of jacques garcia
We could hear the lift mechanism from our room which isn't ideal!
impressive archtecture..journey back in time
Beautiful hotel, but a wee bit pricey!!
OUTSTANDING VALUE FOR MONEY
THE HOTEL IS EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY, WITH AN EXCELLENT LOCATION. WE HAVE NO NEGATIVE POINTS WHATSOEVER.
Clean, beautifully designed rooms, comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff and a great atmosphere.
As travellers from England we were suprised to find guests smoking in the bar and public areas. Our first room was directly off a corridor above the bar which smelt of smoke. Once this was explained to the staff we were quickly given another room which we were very happy with. I believe the laws are to change in Holland July 2008...
Your central location and quite pleasant rooms;
the staff is friendly
I called to enquire about the parking facilities and i was told that if the parking was full, i would have to go to a garage. that seems unacceptable for me for the hotel you wish to be. You could at least offer a valet service.
Moreover i found the atmosphere in your lounge not the one i would expect in an hotel of your quality. the music was far too loud (around 5 p.m. during a cup of tea); upon my request to simply turn it down a bit (not necessarily off) i was told quite briskly that there was a disc jocky, and that was it.
Also again in an hotel of your standard i would find it normal to find brochures of important exhibitions in The Hague but these were not available.
For your kind of prices all of the above should definitely be in order.
Hotel has been beautifully refubished. Staff are excellent, great location and I would definitely return to this hotel again.
The lounge areas were quite warm.
nice colours. beautiful design. Good service. Friendly staff
It is quite expensive. We only booked it, because of a special weekend-rate.
The location and design are excellent as is the service.
I thought it was unnecessary to charge the guests for using the internet. It should be included in a property of this level.
no bath only a shower - would expect both in a hotel of this standard.
Location, location, location
Service personel is more busy with themselves instead of looking after the customers needs. Kids from the Hotel school simply won't do!
Very, very skimpy replenishment of bathroom condements such as soap etc.
Very comfortable and pleasant staff.
Shower outlet blocked. First room a bit clausterphobic.
Absolutely FANTASTIC hotel. We were super impressed. The room was huge and immaculate. The staff delightful. We plan to stay at the hotel again in November!
