Hotel Plato is a modern apartment hotel in Den Haag (The Hague), close to the beach and dunes of Scheveningen. Because of the apartments, the hotel is perfect for travellers who are on an extended stay for business, or enjoying a nice vacation.
Hotel Plato is a unique hotel, as it is an accommodation that exists of several luxury apartments. The hotel is tastefully decorated in a modern style; the interior design is marked by its repeated use of light colours. In this 3-star accommodation you will have a seating, office, and sleeping area. Most of the apartments also have a balcony or terrace. In addition, the apartments have a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a toilet, shower, and bath. Guests have their own mailbox, video intercom, and safe. The hotel's remaining facilities are a television, refrigerator, Internet connection, a DVD-player, ironing facilities, coffee and tea making facilities and a desk. In the hotel there is also a restaurant, bar, and a conference room, all of which can be opened or reserved on request.
From the hotel you may take a nice walk to the beach of Scheveningen. The public transportation system offers a good connection to the city centre of Den Haag, as well as the miniature city Madurodam and the 'Congres Centrum.' In the hotel's direct surroundings you may also find the Holland Casino, the spa and beauty centre Vitalizee, and the Pathé Scheveningen, an impressive cinema.

Food and Drinks
On weekdays Hotel Plato serves an extensive continental breakfast from 7:45 to 10:00 h. In the weekend guests can only have breakfast if it is requested at least 24 hours in advance.
Internet
The rooms are provided with both a wireless Internet connection and an ISDN connection. The use of wireless Internet costs approximately €8.50 for 24 hours. The use of the ISDN connection is approximately €1 for 15 minutes.
Other information
- The hotel does not have a 24-hour reception. Check-in is possible until 18:00 h. and check-out is possible from 07:30 h. A check-in or check-out at any other time is only possible on request;
- Pets are not allowed;

Surroundings
Hotel Plato lies within a convenient walking distance from Scheveningen and the beach. In the hotel's surroundings there are therefore plenty of opportunities to walk, bike, or swim in the sea. But also the city centre of The Hague is well worth a visit, with interesting attractions such as the Palace 'Noordeinde,' the 'Vredespaleis' (palace) and the 'Panorama Mesdag' (museum) are just three of them. Other great excursions are a trip to the famous miniature city 'Madurodam' and Sea Life, where you can admire the amazing underwater world.

- Nette accommodatie. Ziet er schoon en verzorgd uit. Ruime kamer. Goede ligging. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Mogelijkheid om fietsen te stallen en auto dichtbij te zetten voor in- en uitpakken. Ligt langs drukke weg, maar daar hebben wij niets van gehoord. (kamer aan achterzijde).
- Niet automatisch nieuwe handdoeken gekregen. (Er lagen wel reserve-handdoeken in de kast, maar dat was toch weinig als je met kinderen reist). De lichte vloerbedekking maakt het wel spannend om daar met kinderen te verblijven. ;-)

- Het was een mooi hotel met een mooi uitzicht. Je mag in het hotel savonds ergens anders eten en in veel hotels mag dat niet.
- Vond het jammer dat het afgelegen lag en niet bij het strand of zo. En ik vond het eten smorgens voor twee personen wel heel erg veel.
