The 3-star hotel Sebel is located on the edge of the city centre of Den Haag (The Hague). From the hotel you can visit many of The Hague's attractions on foot, like the 'Vredespaleis' and 'Paleis Noordeinde' (two palaces). The lovely beach of Scheveningen is only 5 kilometres from the hotel.

Hotel Sebel breathes a pleasant and casual atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive and the hotel's 27 rooms are furnished in a comfortable and tasteful manner. Because of the hotel's convenient location near the centre of Den Haag, most of the city's attractions can easily be reached on foot. If you wish to go shopping, the city's many shopping streets are close by as well. For business travellers it is worth noting that the 'Nederlands Congres Centrum' can be easily reached by car or tram.

Great staff, great continential breakfast, decent room It's close to the Brave Hendrick - a great place to catch dinner and a beverage.

Beds could be a little more comfortable and it's a bit noisey if you're not used to regular city traffic.

Service was really good, location also. You could walk easily to the centre and a nearby big supermarket. The area Zeeheldenkwartier is worth seeing too.

The rooms are quite old, TV wasn't working properly and we had some trouble connecting to internet. Breakfast could've been included to the price, it was expensive even though good.

The hotel is three old houses. Anyone with mobility problems should seek accommodation at ground level as they would not make it to the third floor. This may be clear on the hotel website. If not, it would be worth adding. For me it was not a problem

A good hotel with clean and helpful staff

It has en-suite and basic amenities you will possibly need for your stay. It was clean and good for those needing a base that was more affordable than other chains right in the centre.

Next to a noisy road with trams passing until around midnight and from early morning so not good for light sleepers. Reception not 24 hours unfortunately and some steep stairs and small lift. There are different doors to enter the hotel but it seems clean and well maintained.

A good hotel for heavy sleepers

The rooms were clean and adequate with friendly and efficient staff. It is located in a nice area of the city and a short tram ride into the central area. The rooms were cleaned to a decent standard everyday and nice shampoo/shower lotions with clean linen/towels too.

The city tax is of course clearly advertised as a separate amount paid on checking out of the hotel, however some may see it as another charge on top of the room price which can be a pet peeve. The reception is only open until 23.00 hours but staff are helpful and friendly enough. The hotel is located on a busy road with trams going by every few minutes close by from early morning until around midnight so can be noisy especially if you need the windows open!

Good value for not too much

The service was very good and helpful. The hotel was clean, we had a nice breakfast and a kept parking nearby.

The only problem was, we asked for a no-smoking room, but it smelt very badly cigarettes.

Free internet, very friendly staff, especially after my key broke just before midnight. Close to a late night store for reasonable priced wine and provisions.

Room was fairly compact and there were no tea or coffee facilities in the room, one of the windows would not stay open, but these are all minor.

Your reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The neighbourhood must be wonderful in the summer and shoulder season I like the idea of the wireless internet based on a card. It is simple and effective

The trams make some noise but we get used to it. The elevator is REALLY slow, You REALLY need to change the coffee machine (now it is NESCAFE) to something that makes good coffee (real beams, espresso, etc) and not the approximate product

Close to the central train station and city centre but away from it enough to not be part of the hustle and bustle. It was extremely clean! Fantastic!

I could not get to sleep for a long time because of the noise from what sounded like the heating system. It sounded like drumming on hollow pipes. The traffic could also be heard intimately every time a tram or car drove by right outside the window. I don't know if this is standard, but there were no toiletries provided. I was expecting the standard soap, shampoo, shower cap but only got the towels.

The location of the hotel was perfect for the business i had in the Hague. Friendly staff If you get a newly renovated room the standard is really good for the price you pay

Be warned this hotel is under some pretty major renovation which you dont get told about untill you get there. I was only there for 2 nights so just about coped with being woken up at 7AM with constant hammering and construction outside my door!! Also, the hotel is not near the centre of Den Haag and is a good 25 min walk to central station to bear in mind if you have trains to catch etc.

Personeel vriendelijk, goed verzorgd ontbijt. Waterkoker op de kamer om thee te zetten.

Punten scoren zo laag omdat in de kamer 01 geen raam open kan, zelfs geen ventilatierooster of schuifje. Zeer benauwend en na drie dagen en nachten, verstikkend zelfs. Niks kan open, vreselijk. Mag dit? Ben doodziek geworden. Griep, Snipverkouden, barstende hoofdpijn en ontstoken ogen. Nooit meer.
