Hotel Sebel breathes a pleasant and casual atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive and the hotel's 27 rooms are furnished in a comfortable and tasteful manner. Because of the hotel's convenient location near the centre of Den Haag, most of the city's attractions can easily be reached on foot. If you wish to go shopping, the city's many shopping streets are close by as well. For business travellers it is worth noting that the 'Nederlands Congres Centrum' can be easily reached by car or tram.
All rooms have been equipped with a shower and toilet, a television, telephone with wake-up service and a safe. Guests can also use the hotel's laundry service and the wireless Internet connection. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but guests can go to the hotel bar to relax and have a nice drink.

“
Great location close to all major tourist attractions. Room was large and comfortable with fantastic vista of the Plein in front of the Hotel (room no 31)
The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.+
The breakfast room was great, although onle scrambled or boiled eggs every day for 11 days was a bit much. A bit of variety would have been welcome. ”

A lovely hotel I would definitely go back to.
+
Very friendly and helpful service. My room had a terrace at the back which is nice if the weather is good. The location is not right in the middle of the town but it is in a pleasant quiet square with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.

An excellent hotel for those working in the Peace Palace ...
+
Excellent location within walking distance of the Peace Palace, close to a tram stop, pleasant "old-world" building lovingly brought up to date, courteous and helpful staff ...
–
Some noise from passing trams - but there does seem to be double glazing in street-side rooms.

Nice, small-sized hotel. Central location. Friendly staff.

No double bed, and there was a big gap between the two matrasses. Breakfast (even during the weekend) only until 10 AM.

Great staff, great continential breakfast, decent room
It's close to the Brave Hendrick - a great place to catch dinner and a beverage.
–
Beds could be a little more comfortable and it's a bit noisey if you're not used to regular city traffic.

the staff are extremely hospitable and courteous. access to the main tram line and easy proximity to down town makes it ideal
–
for the price, the single room is way toooo small- there's barely room to move- let alone hang clothes in closet. the hotel could use an elevator for the top floors

Good service, average hotel.
+
Service was really good, location also. You could walk easily to the centre and a nearby big supermarket. The area Zeeheldenkwartier is worth seeing too.
–
The rooms are quite old, TV wasn't working properly and we had some trouble connecting to internet. Breakfast could've been included to the price, it was expensive even though good.

Great hotel which I will use again.
+
Wecoming staff and good service. Good breakfast.

The hotel is three old houses. Anyone with mobility problems should seek accommodation at ground level as they would not make it to the third floor. This may be clear on the hotel website. If not, it would be worth adding. For me it was not a problem
