Hotel Loodsman's Welvaren is a former inn, which is over 200 years old. It is located in the picturesque village Den Hoorn on the southern side of the island Texel. The woods, dunes and the beach are nearby, which makes the hotel perfectly suited for those who would like to explore the island. Both leisure and business travellers can enjoy a pleasant stay here. By public transport the hotel can easily be reached and there are free parking spaces. The ferry harbour lies at a mere 10-minute ride from hotel Loodsman's Welvaren.

Texel is the largest of the Dutch 'Wadden' islands with over 30 kilometres of splendid beaches. From Hotel Loodsman's Welvaren you can fully enjoy the nature during a hiking or cycling trip. If you are looking for information about the nature of Texel you are recommended to visit 'Ecomare' in the village De Koog. This information centre also houses a bird and seal sanctuary.
