Den Hoorn is one of the oldest and most picturesque villages of Texel. It is situated on the southern side of the island and offers nice restaurants and cafés, a miniature golf course and a children's farm. Texel also has several nature reserves, some of which can be reached on foot from the hotel. The beach lies at about 2 kilometres from Hotel Op Diek.
