The Sandton IJsselhotel Deventer is located in a classical mansion on the west bank of the IJssel. From here you have a beautiful view of the river and the city. With the ferry, guests can cross the river and reach the inner city. The neo classical building is a listed monument that has been refurbished into a luxury hotel. The hotel has made it its goal to offer high quality service to its guests, without ever forgetting the needs of the general public.
The Sandton IJsselhotel has 29 luxury hotel rooms. The rooms are equipped with climate control and comfortable beds that stimulate a good night's sleep. The so-called Cosy rooms are equipped with an LCD television with free movie channels, a laptop safe, wireless internet, a make-up mirror, a hair dryer, desk, deluxe sitting area, and a bathroom with a shower and/or bath. The Charme rooms are set up more spaciously and have larger beds, but are equipped with the same facilities. The IJsselhotel also has three suites, which are very spacious in their set up and equipped with a DVD player and a stereo as well.
For business meetings there are two conference rooms that can seat up to 60 persons. If required, audio visual equipment can be provided, and also several meeting arrangements are available. In the restaurant you can enjoy a savoury meal and in the bar you can enjoy a tasty drink. Guests can use the sauna (at a charge) and fitness room as well.
Food and Drinks
Monday through Friday, the breakfast buffet is served from 07:00 to 10:00 h. and from 08:00 to 10:00 h. on weekends.
In the historic part of the IJsselhotel you will find the modern brasserie. In the sun room guests can enjoy the beautiful view of the IJssel and the city centre of Deventer.

Surroundings
With the ferry guests can cross the IJssel river and reach the centre of Deventer. Deventer is one of the five oldest cities in The Netherlands and thus has many historic attractions. The Lebuïnus church and the St Nicholas church are well-worth a visit; the latter is also an exposition room for modern art, among other things. The church is located in the Bergkwartier, the old and restored inner city, located on the slope of a hill.
