Very nice atmosphere in Your hotel, and large and tasty rooms. Friendly employees, with serviceminded attitude.

Some drinks that we did not have, was put on the restaurant bill. It was corrected during the check-out. There was not a garage for the motorbikes. Though my group was there for the Assen TT, the Hotel was a bit far away from Assen, but in very quiet and peaceful surroundings.

Excellent breakfast!!!! Outdoor playground and indoor playroom for the kids and indoor pool available. Garden loungers in the garden. Free parking. Several restaurants and nice terrace available, though we have not tried the food there. Quiet location surrounded by nature. Beds very comfortable. Decent sized rooms. Balcony.

Bathroom/toilet a little old and basic. Pool is a bit small, esp with several children jumping in from the sides(in spite of signs not allowing this). Also the air in the pool area smells srongly of desinfectant. No windows can be opend. Very bad: In the swimming pool the lights were turned off at 9.55 pm without warning. This was not just unfriendly, but positively dangerous esp with (small) children running around!!!! There was a little light left from outside, but it was quite dark and we were trying to find our stuff and clothes in the dusk as well as keeping the children away from the water. Not sure what health and safety would say to that!!

ik wist niet dat van der valk ook echt luxe kamers had! De luxe kamers zijn erg prettig + comfortabel met een echt heerlijk badkamer en het kan nog veel luxer!

the Turkish steam bath is great though not particularly a nice room. However, it definitely does the job! The restaurant also offers an interesting menu though I wonder how often it is changed.

Fijn, prettig & gezellig ingericht kleinschalig hotel. Fijn dat er voor de rokers toch nog een enigszins comfortabele rookruimte is. Verschillende, separate 'eetzalen', waardoor je het gevoel hebt in een klein restaurant te zitten, dit ondanks grote drukte op zaterdagavond. Prima ontbijt & diner! Je komt beslist niets tekort. Standaard kamer gezellig & warm ingericht. Erg goed hotel voor 'n ontspannen weekendje weg!

Mis de rookmelder op de hotelkamer. Oud model TV: brandgevaarlijk object (stond bij aankomst op stand-by). Flatscreen TV = veiliger. Kitranden buitenzijde douchecabine ogen enigszins 'over de datum'.

Wonderfully relaxing, high quality family destination.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Nothing at all was too much trouble for the staff. We asked for a couple of things, i.e. an extra blanket and as it wasn't immediately available, the front desk kept us informed of when it would arrive. They also opened a bowling lane early for us as we needed to leave at an earlier time. The spa was excellent, as was the breakfast. Something to keep the whole family occupied constantly. Most highly recommended.

The only minus point was that the room temperature was very cool. Given that the weather had deteriorated considerably in the few days before we arrived, it was too cool at night to feel comfortable and we couldn't get the radiators to operate. Extra blankets sufficed though more heat would have been pleasing.

Perfecte ontvangst. Uitermate vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen. Heerlijk ontbijt! Fantastische kamer + tuin + jacuzzi. Absoluut een aanrader en wij komen zeker nog eens terug!!!

De harde tuinstoelen. Er zaten geen kussentjes in waardoor je maar je badjas erop legde.
