The l'Auberge Damhotel is a wonderful hotel with an unique ambiance that perfectly fits the atmosphere of the romantic town of Edam. The hotel is located in the centre and offers a beautiful view of the stately council hall. This is a great place to spend the night and to enjoy the exquisite cuisine.
This homely hotel has a warm and classical atmosphere. Its wealth and luxury will greet you upon entry. Rooms are decorated with chandeliers and baroque chairs. At l'Auberge Damhotel guests can also have a delicious dinner. Guests can have a seat on the outdoor terrace on beautiful summer days, as well as on cold days, when the terrace is heated.
The rooms are decorated in a luxury manner and all have their own distinct atmosphere. At the front of the hotel the rooms look out over the gorgeous 'Keizersgracht' (canal). In the rooms guests have a private bathroom with a toilet, shower, and bath. There is also a television, air conditioning and access to wireless Internet.

Edam has a lively city centre with various shops and terraces. The city is mostly famous for its large round cheeses and every Wednesday in July and August Edam hosts a traditional cheese market.
