On the edge of the beautiful nature area De Veluwe lies Hotel de Bosrand, an excellent accommodation for trainings and meetings. In the breakfast room guests can enjoy a contintenal breakfast on weekdays from 07:00 till 10:00 h. and on the weekend from 07:30 till 10:30 h.
In the afternoon it is possible to have a delicious lunch here. The kitchen staff will gladly cater to the preferences of all its national and international guests. Meals can be adapted according to customs and cultures. From Monday till Friday the restaurant is open from 12:00 till 20:30 h. and on Saturday between 17:00 and 20:30 h. The restaurant is closed on Sunday. At the end of the day, after a delicious dinner, it is lovely to relax on the large private terrace overlooking the park or in the cozy bar.

Internet

The hotel has an internet café with several computers and connecting points for your laptop. Hotel guests can use these facilities for free. It is also possible to use wireless internet in the rooms, the conference rooms, the restaurant and the bar. At the reception you can ask for the free WiFi login details.

Surroundings

Guests of Hotel de Bosrand Ede are recommended to visit national reserve De Hoge Veluwe. From the hotel you can walk right into the woods and explore 5.500 hectares of nature. There is a visitor centre that houses the Museonder, an underground museum about creatures that live underground.

Anonymous OK, but needs freshening up!: 30 June 2010; 6.6; + Very nice breakfast buffet, free internet cafe use from 07:00 until 0:00 each day- they have computers or you can bring your own. I was here on business and the room had a decent worksurface and was large enough to move freely in (note that my room was a single bed only). Ample free parking, has pool table, good outdoor seating, working bar staff. Room Price was very good, given the good and bad points, as well as the location and included services.; - Without a car, you are far from the centre of Ede, making for a long walk to other dining options and shopping. Room felt as if it had been made up a few months ago and then sat vacant until I arrived; it just had a stale feeling and could stand with some updating of wall coverings and carpets. It is nearly in the woods, which makes it serene but also there can be critters who come in the window- I had a very large spider on my curtains but the front desk ladies came and removed him at my request, which was nice.

Anonymous: 13 April 2008; 9.6; + Hotel was as expected, a modern conference hotel with good sized rooms. Free internet access and printing. It was quiet and ideally located for exploring Arnhem and the de Hoge Veluwe park where you can cycle around on the free bikes. There are other museums and a zoo in the area. There are also several walks around the hotel! Most staff were friendly and the restaurant food was unexpectedly fancy, and reasonably priced. All in all an excellent hotel and at the time of booking it was cheaper than lower end chain hotels in the area. Free parking.

Clearly not a cozy hotel but very much geared to conventions and groups, however it worked fine for us. The staff was very friendly, the room comfortable, all we needed was there (except tissues in the bathroom or room), and breakfast was great.; - No tissues in bathroom or room
