Enjoy a pleasant stay in Egmond aan zee. You can go for a nice bicycle ride in the highest dunes of the Netherlands and make a stroll along the long sandy beach. The boulevard offers plenty restaurants and beach pavillions, where you can enjoy the surroundings after an active day. Just several kilometres from Egmond aan Zee lies the vibrant cheese city of Alkmaar. During a visit to the Kaasmuseum you learn more about cheese. In the city centre you can also go on a shopping spree.
Hotel Mare Liberum offers modern rooms. Some of the rooms have a connecting door, which makes them suitable for families with children. The rooms are equipped with two single beds, an attractive bathroom, television, desk, sitting corner and wireless internet (in the entire hotel). The hotel also has a cosy lobby with an outdoor terrace.
It is a very good hotel for guests that have an allergy. The materials for the marble or oak-wood floors were selected very carefully. Extra care is taken of maintenance and cleaning. The high ceilings and good isolation ensures a comfortable temperature and plenty of fresh air.

Breakfast is daily served in the conservatory from 08:30 until 10:00 h. The hotel does not have a bar or restaurant, but along the boulevard of Egmond aan Zee there are several restaurants and cafés.
