A really nice entrance and wonderful spa.

The age of the room (old furniture). The furniture of the room looks like a budget hotel. I burned my skin to the shower, due to a very old style water tap. The rooms they present on all the websites does not look like real life. When you say something about it, they ask you to pay more to get a 'pretty' room that is shown on the websites. Food in the restaurant was not very nice (salty and watery)

Campanile hotel Eindhoven is located between Eindhoven Airport and the beautiful city centre. The hotel is close to the A2 motorway and is therefore an excellent starting point for an exploration of the region. Eindhoven itself has a lot to offer as well, with its green parks and diverse modern architecture.

Perfect situated at the ring-road of Eindhoven

It was exactly what we were looking for and what we expected.

It was cold outside and it would have been nice if the room should have been nice and warm; now it took half an hour before the temperature was comfortable. About your review: it is a bit silly to find that 7 out of 25 themes I can find appropiate for this hotel at Eindhoven, are concerning Amsterdam. I hope that the next review will be more creative. goede locatie, aardige kamers, schitterende badkamer. Aardig personeel, behalve tijdens uitchecken.

Tijdens uitchecken geeft medewerker aan dat ik 50 euro extra moet betalen vanwege ontbijt. Gelukkig had ik een uitdraai van uw site, waarop stond dat het ontbijt inclusief was. Haar arrogantie en het feit dat ze geen excuus aanbood toen bleek dat ik toch gelijk had deed afbreuk aan ons verblijf dat verder prima was verlopen.

recently,i went to Belguim on business,along with my 2 sons,we stayed for one night at the van der valk hotel eindhoven, as it was after 6pm when we arrived at the airport, the desk for the shuttle bus to the hotel was closed. so we had to take a20 min taxi.hotel was very nice and the food was really good, as we had our dinner there that evening,average price 20 euros for the main course.per person. the breakfast buffet was well worth the 12.50 euros per person.a great selection of hot and cold food. would recommend this hotel and on my next visit i will stay there again.

we were dissapointed with the shuttle desk being closed so early, as we were told on the hotel information,when you arrrive at the airport there is a shuttle bus to the hotel,and you can book this at the desk in eindhoven airport, it did not state that the desk closed at 5pm, and after that time you would have needed to pre book the shuttle when you booked your stay at the hotel. price should have been 15euros for 3 persons in the shuttle, instead we had to pay 45 euros for the taxi, we all found for some reason we had a sleepless night,as the beds were a little to soft. i give this hoel overall marks 8 out of ten.

The staff were helpful and polite, and generous breakfasts. The 'downstairs' area of the hotel - the restaurant area and reception are smart and comfortable. The restaurant was good too

The rooms lack attention to detail - no towel rails, nowhere much to sit, awkward locks, no drawers and not too warm either! Unfortunately the corridors smelt badly of cigarette smoke for a couple of days. No free wifi

I have been looking for a nice hotel in Holland for some years now and at last have found one. the hotel was very nice with an extremely comfortable bed, lovely bathroom with full sized bath, bathrobe etc. The bakery next door was excellent and so typically dutch. The location was near to the centre but in a quiet side street. Free internet use was also a bonus.

OK budget hotel

It is a budget hotel 15 min bus ride away from the centre. It is generally OK. There was a bed and free Internet and the place was tidy. Roadwork immediately next to Leenderweg 285 was completed in the beginning of November 2009, so it should be quite nice and quiet there. And the diverted buses go along a nearby street.

If you arrive late at night at Leenderweg 285 then you will find a notice that the reception is at Leenderweg 176. Also, there is roadwork going on until mid February 2010 so that most of Leenderweg is closed and buses are diverted. Familie op vakantie in Nederland

Mooie omgeving. Rustig gelegen alhoewel wat ver van het centrum af. Mooie kamers, ruime badkamer. Zeer beleefd en behulpzaam personeel. De sauna, de gymzaal en het zwembad waren een genot!

De kamers waren wat ver weg van de receptie en niet echt makkelijk te vinden. Suggestie : misschien zou er, in de ontbijtzaal, samen met het kamernummer, de naam of een handtekening moeten worden gevraagd, om vergissingen te voorkomen ? Het is nooit aangenaam ontbijt te betalen voor een ander.

Lavish comfort with an expensive breakfast

Great hotel with unique glass walled bathroom, very comfortable and restfull. Hotel is surrounded by woodland and has a busy motorway nearby which you surprisingly cannot hear. Well worth a visit for a taste of luxury.

I had a complaint on noise on my room which was taken very seriously and I was given another very quitly located room. YOU CAN CHOOSE YOUR TYPE OF PILLOW FROM A MENU !!! I traveled a lot but have never seen such service before. Breakfast is super!

Cold room but warm atmosphere

Very friendly atmosphere. Liked the bar and restaurant that was like a living room. Nice personnel. Although the minus points, see below, the overall was positive!

The room was not heated at arrival, so it was very cold. Took 24 hours before it was warm. Not nice to arrive to a cold room after travelling and working for 18 hours. The bathroom had no heating so had to keep bathroom door open, but still quite cold, especially the bathroom floor. Not cleaning every day, but I guess OK. Maybe you should inform the guests about that. The heating was noisy and had a strange extra sound that I thought was another room's alarm clock that noone turned off. :)

De Brasserie van het hotel waar ontbeten wordt, doet heel gezellig aan en het ontbijt smaakte goed. Bedden op zich liggen uitstekend rustig hotel. doet knus aan. Vriendelijk personeel.

Bedden schuiven heel gemakkelijk uit elkaar, wat behoorlijk vervelend kan zijn. De douce is heerlijk warm, maar heeft een hele zwakke waterstraal. kamer is iets aan de kleine kant.

Weekend in Eindhoven

food in restaurant was brilliant - great selection at breakfast in a very nice and spacious room. Staff on front desk very courteous and helpful. Gym facilities - awesome

service at dinner was not good, we were only one of three couples in and it took 15 mins for us to get a bottle of wine. view out of deluxe bedroom window was of the outside of the gym wall - only 6 feet away. Below on the floor was an ashtray of rubbish and cigarette ends, discarded from hotel windows above. We kept the curtains closed.
