Description

Eindhoven has a beautiful historic centre, with many examples of Neo-Gothic architecture. It also has a lot of modern high-rise buildings. Examples of these are residential towers like the Porthos, the Regent, the Vesteda tower, and the Admirant. The Vesteda tower is even reminiscent of the famous Flat-Iron Building on Broadway in New York. The St. Catharina Church on the square of the same name is a good example of a Neo-Gothic building and was built around 1859.

Hotel Campanile Eindhoven has a convenient location, only 5 kilometres away from the city centre and the train station. Also, it is only 2 kilometres from the airport. The hotel has all kinds of modern facilities, aimed towards the guests' comfort and an enjoyable stay. All rooms have coffee and tea making facilities, a television, telephone, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, and a desk. The hotel also has a conference room that can seat up to 30 persons. This conference room is equipped with modern facilities like wireless Internet, a beamer, television, DVD-player, and flip-chart.

Jessica Net hotel, maar kamer laat beschikbaar: 20 June 2011; 7.4; + Aardig personeel, nette kamer, redelijke prijs; - De kamer was pas 16.10 klaar in plaats van om 15.00. Dat is erg laat als je nog wil gaan winkelen in Eindhoven, want je loopt niet even zo heen en weer van het centrum naar het hotel (het centrum ligt op ongeveer 5 km). Ook 15.00 is al erg laat.

First timer in Eindhoven A good experience in Campanile hotel, but slightly un-economical.: 13 July 2010; 7.2; + Closely situated to Eindhoven city centre. Good bus facilities connecting to Airport and City centre. Peaceful and beautiful location; - No family rooms suitable for 2 Adults and 2 Children. We had to pay for 2 double rooms. It would have been economical, if there were family rooms. No fridge in the room. No AC or fan in the room for summer. No bins in the bedroom. No hair dryer, iron and iron stand in the room.

Abubaqr Rasool This motel will grow on you: 25 May 2010; 6.4; + My initial reception was poor. There was no greeting or may I help you from the blonde clerk. Parking is a plus. Owen and Kim and few other staff were friendly and professional. The hotel grew on me. Wireless internet is a plus.; - Lack of tidyness in my room, holes in the bed sheets. Hair in the sink. My room was located on the 3rd floor and I have knee problems. Although there was an elevator, it was still inconvient. The rooms are small but efficient

Breakfast was excellent and also great value as part of an all inclusive package. The twin bedded room was very comfortable, albeit a little on the small side but more than adequate.; - A minor mix-up on departure over the room rate but sorted out quickly and correctly.

Easy to book a taxi from the reception desk and they charge no extra. + Clean and nice rooms.; - - A bit far off from the Eindhoven city centre but bus 401 and 402 will take you there for only Â¤2.40. Taxi will cost about Â¤15-20. - No shopping close to the hotel. You can walk to Veldhoven which will take you ~30 min, there they have at least a food store.

Breakfast was good.; - Hotel has outside corridors and a metal staircase so there was some noise late at night. Location is on the corner of a busy road.

Mark: 17 September 2006; 6.8; + The cheapest 3 star hotel in Eindhoven. Next to Nettorama, you can buy good food there (top brands) for less money. Close to the bus station to Eindhoven center.; - The rooms are rather small, certainly not good for stays longer than 2 nights. The price is too much, but this is because Eindhoven is expensive. Breakfast too expensive - 9 euros per person!!!

Donna Taylor: 15 August 2006; 9.6; + The Hotel was wonderful, as were the staff. I am always a little worried when booking online as to what to expect, but we were very pleased. I will definately be making a return visit to this Hotel as I have family in the area, and would try and book a Campanile Hotel if visiting elsewhere. I would recommend them to anyone and would be very interested in a frequent visitor programme if you have one.; - We had a bit of trouble finding the Hotel but that was due to my dodgy map reading and a rac route plan!
