The centre of Eindhoven is particularly modern, although it is still graced with a number of impressive neo-gothic buildings. The city's skyline is dominated by high-rise apartment buildings including De Vesteda Toren, De Admirant and De Regent. Eindhoven has developed into a city of great wealth, partly thanks to its many factories, like the light-bulb factory of Philips. Lovers of culture can enjoy a visit to the Van Abbe Museum, the Frits Philips Concert Hall or the Effenaar pop music venue.
All hotel rooms include a luxury bathroom with a shower and/or bath, a wash basin and a toilet, wireless Internet, a television, a telephone and air conditioning. The hotel also has six conference rooms equipped with wireless Internet, natural daylight and air conditioning. These rooms are perfect for business meetings, seminars and presentations, and offer every type of modern convenience.

Good for price @ 3*. Attention to detail needed for improvement.
+
Very friendly staff - always greeted cheerfully when passing by.
Quick response on calls to reception e.g. about noise.
Location close to town/food/life.
–
Hygiene - mattresses not stable on beds. Very difficult to push two beds together without mattresses moving apart during the night.
Bin not emptied first 2 days while full. Dirty looking marks on chairs.
Other (drunk?) guests running up and down corridors banging on doors at 4am (although this is not really your fault)

Excellent location in Eindhoven. Quiet, but close to activities and busy area. All staff we came in contact with were the best .. ...friendly, courteous and extremely helpful.
Breakfast was plentiful .. lots of choices.
The 3 course dinner offered in the lounge was wonderful.
Would highly recommend this hotel.
–
No face cloths or facial tissue in rooms .. not really a big problem, but would be nice.

decent hotel, but more attention to detail in the rooms
+
The staff were helpful and polite, and generous breakfasts. The 'downstairs' area of the hotel - the restaurant area and reception are smart and comfortable. The restaurant was good too
–
The rooms lack attention to detail - no towel rails, nowhere much to sit, awkward locks, no drawers and not too warm either! Unfortunately the corridors smelt badly of cigarette smoke for a couple of days. No free wifi

Business Stay in the Sandton Eindhoven

I love the location, just at the Centrum, and the value of this hotel. The room was very comfortable and superbly maintained in a simple and elegant style. The bathroom was small but in perfect condition - even the shower doors allowed no water to escape onto the floor (frequent travelers will understand). Beds are very comfortable, firm as I like them. Breakfast is a real bargain, everything you could want at a reasonable price, and presented in a nice setting. Plenty of good coffee. Taxi service available was swift. Great hotel!
–
Rain! (But that's not the Sandton's fault) Actually the only negative critique is that the bed had the ubiquitous duvet instead of a topsheet, and I always have to pull the stuffing out of the cover to have the chance to sleep. All the hotels have gone this route - and in summertime this is completely mystifying! That's it - nothing else negative.

Noisy doors. People returning from nightlife slamming doors until 04.00 a.m. Please tell them there are other customers.
Shower sewage partially blocked.
Personel not aware of rabates, charging far too much. (Happy I could show my reservation with correct numbers)
