Matthew Barry Queenan Holiday Inn superb ! but nearby night club noise may be a problem.: 31 October 2011; 10; + I have nothing but praise for this hotel and it ticks all the boxes.. And I would definitely stop here again but I would check out the saturday night situation..; - Sadly on the saturday night we stayed a nearby night club had a "yoof rave" and the sounds of "Techno Music" echoed from before midnight until about 6am. The sounds of drunken youths making there way home at all hours was another added bonus ! We were staying at the back and what the people at the front who must have had the full onslaught put up with makes me shudder. Surely a hotel chain such as Holiday Inn must be able to bring some pressure to bare on the relevant authorities in Eindoven !!

Anonymous Beautiful hotel on Vondelpark near city center: 19 January 2011; 8.6; + Beautiful location right on Vondelpark in very nice neighborhood. Clean, quiet area of Amsterdam outside of bustling noisy city center, but still very close. The tram 2 goes right in front of the hotel.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Near to the city center.; - We arrived on Saturday morning and we were told that breakfast is served at 11 am. Nobody informed us that it is served at 10 am at weekdays. Anyway, it did not spoil our stay.

e.j Design. Noises: 11 May 2010; 6.6; + Good design.; - At night you can hear a lot of noises. There are not a good soundproofing. If you arrive at the hotel by walk, the access is not perfect. It is a bit dangerous (there are not traffic lights or pedestrian crossing) and confused (not signs where is the main entrance).

The room was quite clean, but the dishes were not washed every day. On a couple of days there was only one tea mug and on one day glasses were missing totally.

Some construction work was still going on but this was well communicated.; - The bathrooms, although comfortable, weren't modernized and looked quite old. The flat TV system was slow and not user friendly.

F Super verblijf gehad: 19 August 2009; 9.4; + Heel lekker ontbijt. Mooie ruime kamers. Prijs/kwaliteit is zeker de moeite waard.; - Zwembad ruimte is heel erg warm. Aangezien er toch aan het verbouwen is, is het misschien een idee om er een kinderbadje bij te doen.

Stond twee keer voor joker voor de slagboom.

Anonymous Erg fijn hotel voor weekendje weg!: 8 August 2011; 8.4; + Ligging is erg goed en je bent door een tunneltje zo bij het station en de winkelstraten. Personeel komt vriendelijk over. Kamers zijn zeer luxe maar zoals velen zeggen de badkamer ziet er nog ouderwets uit echter is deze wel hygienisch. Ontbijtbuffet is zeker goed te noemen echter zou ik er niet los 22 euro voor betalen. Geen last gehad van geluidsoverlast.; - Niet echt behalve dat de badkamer en slaapkamer niet qua stijl overeenkomen.
