Description

Hotel Parkzicht Eindhoven is located in a quiet environment, across from the city park. From the hotel the city centre can be reached within a few minutes and there are plenty of parking spaces available at this monumental building. A wealth of culture is on display at, among other things, the Van Abbe Museum and the Parkzicht theatre.

The city of Eindhoven has a rich history which can be seen in the Neo-Gothic architectural style of the St. Catharina church with its two towers. The city's newer architecture has raised the city to a higher level of style. Eindhoven's skyline is graced with a number of impressive residential high-rise buildings, such as the Vesteda Tower, the Porthos, the Regent, and the Admirant. A smaller building, but one with a long history, is Philips' first light bulb factory. This industry has been instrumental to the city's boom through the years.

Hotel Parkzicht has a beautiful, quiet location, but the city centre is only a stone's throw away. Eindhoven has a green centre with several parks. Next to the city is the Strabrechtse Heide, a 1.500 hectare nature area. From the sun terrace and the rooms, guests can look out over the city park and the hotel has rental bikes to explore the surroundings. All rooms are equipped with a telephone, coffee and tea making facilities, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, air conditioning, a hair dryer, an internet connection, television and a DVD player. DVDs are available for free at the reception. On the ground floor the hotel has a laundry machine and dryer that guests can use for free. The hotel is well suited for meetings, receptions, and lunch meetings. The hotel does not have an elevator, but the building is no more than two stories high and the staff will be more than willing to help guests with their luggage.

Food and Drinks

The breakfast buffet is set up on weekdays from 07:00 until 10:00 h. and on the weekend from 07:30 until 10:30 h. Restaurant Listers Parkzicht offers not only delicious three-course meals, but also the possibility to organise lunches, receptions, high teas and coffee lunches.

Surroundings

Cities such as Tilburg and Helmond can be easily reached from Hotel Parkzicht Eindhoven.

Good quality hotel located just far enough from the center of town

Good reception at arrival by MRS kwinten. She showed the room and explained how th TV and Arico had to be switched on.

The matrasses are of poor quality. I had pain in my back after one night sleep/

I"d go back but with care

very helpful staff washer drier readily available and even free I'd go back but with carefully chosen room

noisy restaurant below my room not so close to center of town room door did not close automatically so that THREE times in three days I returned to my room after the maid had been there and found the door ajar. I complained after the first time, the reaction was perfect, the results nonexistent.

Complementary koffee and tea for free use in rooms - very nice thing! Breakfast is super, hold on to that, and we will see many times for years to come =)

Fridge / coolerbox would be a nice thing to have in room, to keep personal groseries (etc. ham, cheese, youghurt) good to consume for few days.

Very Friendly, Kind and Helpful staff. The hotel is in a quiet area nearby a nice park and, despite of that, it is also near to the city centre (about 10' by foot) and not too far from the train station (about 15' by foot); the room was large enough (and even a bit more) for my needs and very clean. No parking problems. If I'll ever go to Eindhoven again, this hotel will surely be my choice.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room, and the hotel in general, was very clean. No problems for a late check-in. Plenty of parking out front. We were also amazed at the amount of "extras" available at the hotel - vending machines, ice machines, bike-hire . . .

For us, not having a lift in the hotel wasn't a problem, but for handicapped guests, I'd advise to ask for a room up the first flight of stairs. I'm sure the staff would have no problems making the arrangements !

Very silent, tranquile area. Very nice "hide-away" hotel. Interior design also not invasive. Restaurant has a menu with various choices. Not fancy, but very well prepared. Park across the street. No parking problems.

Not really a minus for us, but there is no elevator. Nice broad stairs though. Needs more regular check on all functionalities.

The staff was very nice and accomodating. They were very friendly and professional. The breakfast was great, definitely not the ordinary hotel breakfast buffet. The hotel felt like it was in the country; it was quiet and tranquil, but also close enough to the central city area. The in-house complimentary DVD rental was very much appreciated and the collection is vast and varied. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. It is the service and thoughtful extras that make Hotel Parkzicht a special place.

Verrassend mooie jaren-30 architectuur, met goed gemoderniseerd kamers in een rustige wijk. Personeel heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ruime parkeergelegenheid. Goed ontbijt. Zeer goede prijs-/kwaliteitsverhouding. Een aanrader voor een weekendje Eindhoven.

Voor een langere periode was de kamer iets te karig ingericht: weinig kast- en opbergruimte.

Perfect hotel voor weekendje weg

Echt een ideaal hotel voor een weekendje weg. Op perfect loopafstand van het centrum, waardoor je de rust hebt van het parkje, maar de faciliteiten van het centrum. De kamer zag er prachtig uit en was echt van alle gemakken voorzien. Het personeel was ook heel vriendelijk en wou alles voor je doen.

Lekker lichte kamer, verzorgd en keurig kamer.

Geen ijskast aanwezig, waterkoker kapot. Afzuigsysteem net onder onze raam, waardoor je niet met het raam kon slapen, vanwege het lawaai van het systeem.

Hotel Parkzicht: een aanrader!

Gastvrijheid/Vriendelijkheid personeel, service, kwaliteit diner/ontbijt, mooie/gunstige ligging, prima terras,gratis parkeergelegenheid, kortom een aanrader.

Geen lift aanwezig. Overigens kregen we direct een kamer op de 1e verdieping toen men zag dat mijn moeder al ouder is (was in 1e instantie op andere verdieping gepland, weer die service dus)
