Hotel Van der Valk Eindhoven is located in the middle of the 'Genneper Parken,' a green are to the south of the city Eindhoven. A nice walk through the parks will bring you to the city centre, but the connections by public or private transport are also more than adequate.

The hotel has many possibilities for relaxation. In the sports centre guests can take a cardio or pilates training under professional guidance. Guests can use the heated swimming pool at no additional charge. The hotel is equipped with a tennis court, which are open as early as April, and as long as the weather is good.

All rooms in the hotel are equipped with, among other things, a bathroom with a bath, wash basin, toilet, and shower, a television with a video channel, wireless Internet, a mini bar, safe, sitting area, and hair dryer. The Junior suites also have a jacuzzi. Van der Valk Eindhoven can also perfectly accommodate (business) meetings on all sorts of arrangements. The 18 meeting rooms, which have a total floor surface of more than 2200 m2, can accommodate groups ranging from 10 to 2000 persons, and are equipped with all kinds of modern facilities.

Food and Drinks

An extensive breakfast buffet is set up daily from 07:00 to 11:00 h. For lunch guests can choose from the extensive lunch menu. The lunch items can be ordered from 11:30 to 17:00 h. From 12:00 to 23:00 h. Guests can also choose from the luxury 3-course menus or the à la carte menu with many seasonal dishes. Room service is available between 07:00 and 23:00 h.
Lovers of whiskey can have a seat in the Havana Bar, where the varied collection of coffee drinks and whiskeys guarantee a night to remember.The hotel has their own desk at Eindhoven Airport. Guests can reserve a shuttle bus to the hotel and it is also possible to check in the hotel room.

lovely hotel and very helpful staff

recently,i went to Belguim on business,along with my 2 sons,we stayed for one night at the van der valk hotel eindhoven, as it was after 6pm when we arrived at the airport, the desk for the shuttle bus to the hotel was closed. so we had to take a20 min taxi.hotel was very nice and the food was really good, as we had our dinner there that evening,average price 20 euros for the main course.per person. the breakfast buffet was well worth the 12.50 euros per person.a great selection of hot and cold food. would recommend this hotel and on my next visit i will stay there again.

we were dissapointed with the shuttle desk being closed so early, as we were told on the hotel information,when you arrrive at the airport there is a shuttle bus to the hotel,and you can book this at the desk in eindhoven airport, it did not state that the desk closed at 5pm, and after that time you would have needed to pre book the shuttle when you booked your stay at the hotel. price should have been 15euros for 3 persons in the shuttle, instead we had to pay 45 euros for the taxi, we all found for some reason we had a sleepless night,as the beds were a little to soft. i give this hoel overall marks 8 out of ten.

Comfortable and convenient

Convenient to airport and ice arena which were important to us during our visit. The hotel stored our luggage for a few days when we went on a short trip. Breakfast buffet was excellent!

I didn't like the paper facecloths that were supplied in the washroom. I would like to see recycling containers in the rooms.

Nice but shame about the overheating and noise

good value for money (special weekend deal of €69), great breakfast. Large enough room.

Room unbearably hot (a lot cooler outside), felt like underfloor heating pipes. As groundfloor, could only open door in tilt mode, very little air coming through. As there was a hockey tournament nearby, the hotel was extremely noisy, with lots of banging on doors and shouting at 2am and onwards. Phoned reception who said "they would look into it". Not a lot happened, strange as reception was 20m away around the corner that they did not hear anything. Later found out that furniture had been thrown of balcony, just missing my sisters car. Complained at reception at check out and they said "yes it was a warm night" and "yes it was very noisy" - not very helpful. Shame, as hotel itself is not bad at all.

"Well furnished hotel with very poor quality of service"

Amenities and room furnishings are very good. That you ask for feedback!

(1) Most of the service staff appear very unfriendly and unhelpful. (2) Inspite of asking about laundry, there was no information that this service is not available during weekends. The key to the Laundromatte didnt work and I was told somebody will fix it and give me a call. Nobody did. (3) There is no concierge at this hotel and the front desk does not know nor are they able to guide. (4) Housekeeping is not very good either. I have stayed now for 8 days. They missed one day and even when they do come, its very minimal.

Near Eindhoven Airport, recently renovated. Comfy looking lounge.

Restaurant quality VERY POOR! Interior looks very promising, but the food was terrible. Salmon salad with too much salmon, too little dressing and salad. Schnitzel was dry. After expressing our dislikes we only wanted our coffee fast (baby needed sleep) they still waited for over half (if not 3/4 of) an hour to serve the coffee. Hotel personal however was very pleasing.

Breakfast Time

The actual room was great and the breakfast was savage.It was very well kept and there were no disturbances.I had read that there would be a deal of noise from the adjoining road but that wasn't the case.There are plenty of buses,too and from town but in any case it's not as far as people make out.We walked in one day and it only took us about 40 minutes.

Well I lost my cap in the bar and when I asked no one even bothered to look so that was that.Plus a girl at reception did try and charge us for any extra night even though we had paid cash on arrival.Make sure you keep your confirmation details as I did.But that's all.

An amazing experience for a great price!

The internet weekend price I got for this four star hotel was brilliant. Only £20pppn! And with breakfast and the sports centre included, this was phenominal!! I traveled with my sister. We particulaly enjoyed the MASSIVE breakfast buffet.

Wasnt happy about being charged for a jug og tap water and a blob of mayonnaise in the restaurant.

Excellent stay at Van Der Valk Hotel in Eindhoven

We love the decor and comfort of the room and bathroom. Parking is also plentiful. The bar is really cosy, with excellent choice, and the barmaid we had both nights was really friendly. Also we were able to check in early which is fantastic.

We are still awaiting reply regards being charged for 2 breakfasts we didn't have which is annoying, especially as we stay there every year for the same weekend.

Very comfortable beds. Efficient service at reception. We had asked for 2 rooms together and this was done.

The restaurant was far too smoky. Each time I went up to the buffet section I had to walk past a cloud of smoke which was very uncomfortable for me and my children. Service in the restaurant was mostly OK but one waitress had a very bad attitude, when opening the wine she smilled some and failed to apologise which I thought was bad manners.

1. I asked by mail during reservation about possibility of payment by cards Maestro or Visa business - no answer. 2. I received from reception wrong key for my room (198). I was forced to live my language ( 5 pce) in one of room to avoid bringing them to reception for a new key and back. 3. The elevator very often full (particularly in the morning) and difficult to go down (long way by stairs via Restaurant). I believe that you make necessary improvement that next my staying in your hotel give me more satisfaction. Don’t hesitate to contact me with good information then improvement is implemented.

Some food needs "revival". The varkenhaas ??? was just an uninteresting lump of pork with no mitigating circumstances, not worthy of your fine hotel. Suggestion: get a famous chef de cuisine to go through the menues. The Danish cook, Claus Meier, would be a good choice

Goede ligging, Gemakkelijk bereikbaar vanuit de snelweg en goede voorzieningen.Uitstekende bediening, service aan de balie / receptie, Havana bar en in het restaurant is voortreffelijk, goede kamer, (rookvrije afdeling, hele etage) attent en vriendelijk personeel.

Jammer. De ruimte voor de saladebar en het ontbijtbuffet, ligt tegenover het rokersgedeelte van het restaurant. Erg storend en niet bepaald smakelijk, waardoor voor carapatiënten onmogelijk is zelf eten te halen. Beter zou zijn het rokers gedeelte te verplaatsen naar een andere gedeelte direct nabij de ingang van het restaurant.

It's our third stay and the staff are really good at looking after us. The restuarant menu is varied and good quality. We love the decor in the main bar - very plush. Plenty of parking. Easy to find. WIll come back next year.

The rooms that face the motorway are a bit noisy and because it was so hot we needed the window/door open all the time. Perhaps a portable fan would be a good investment.
