The building in which Landgoed Avegoor is located, was built in 1847 and is surrounded by the lovely nature of De Veluwe. Cities like Arnhem, Zutphen and Doesburg are not far away, as is national reserve De Hoge Veluwe, which also harbours the Kröller Müller Museum (modern art).
