Stads-hotel Boerland is located in the city of Emmen, in the province Drenthe. The monumental part of this building houses 'De Heeren van Boerland,' an atmospheric pub that also serves meals. The open-air museum 'Veenpark' in Barger Compascuum is also well-worth a visit.
