The wide North Sea Beach can be found within walking distance of the hotel. Enjoy a fresh sea breeze coupled with sun, sea and sandy beaches! Fancy some culture instead? Then take a lovely walk through the centre of Burgh-Haamstede towards the Plompe Tower; the last remnant of the former village of Koudekerke. Haamstede's lighthouse is also a must, and after visiting it you can enjoy a nice stroll along the 'Vuurtorenpad', which will lead you along the coast.
Food and Drink
The hotel offers guests a delicious breakfast buffet, available daily from 07:30 until 11:00. The restaurant at Grand Hotel Ter Duin is an experience in itself, presenting regional dishes fresh from nature. The restaurant has a kitchen-range which is centred between the dining tables, and the restaurant's 'live cooking' concept allows diners the entertaining experience of seeing dishes being prepared on the spot. The restaurant is open from 17:30 until 21:30. Treat yourself to a good cup of coffee at the Grand Café or enjoy a pleasant chat. The Grand Café is open daily between 12:00 and 01:00.

The hotel is beautifully situated and very good accessible.
It was very crowded during the weekend and therefore the personnel did not have enough time to take care of everything during dinner as well as during breakfast. It looked very chaotic. Because of the crowd there were not enough parking places. Furthermore they should pay more attention to better clean the toilet in the room.
