Hotel Eureka lies in the hilly landscape of Epen, in the south-east corner of the province Limburg. Half-timbered houses, streams, and marl caves are characteristic of this region. Come and enjoy the free and easy southern lifestyle, find peace and quiet among the hills, and alternate the countryside with a visit to Maastricht or Aachen.
Hotel Eureka adds to the picturesque appearance of Epen and the Limburger town's atmosphere. In the 'Dikke & Dunne Bar' guests can play some pool and billiards while enjoying a nice beer, since 'a day without laughter is a day wasted'. From the outside terrace of this 3-star hotel you will have a beautiful view of the woods, hills, and valleys of the South-Limburger 'Geul' valley. The region's unique character will make you feel like you have left The Netherlands.
The unpretentious rooms have been comfortably equipped with a bathroom with a shower and toilet, telephone and (if needed) a television. Bikes can be placed in the covered bike shed and upon arrival guests receive a map with footpaths through the area. As you saunter through the woods and over the fields you will always have the atmospheric Epen and the hospitable hotel Eureka to return to.
Food and Drinks
The breakfast buffet is served from 06:45 to 09:30 h. on weekdays. On Saturday breakfast service takes place between 07:30 and 10:00 h. and on Sunday from 07:30 to 10:30 h.
In the à la carte restaurant the staff serve a nice dinner and fine wines. Vegetarians and specials diets can also be catered for. Take a seat and enjoy the Limburger hospitality. From the roof terrace you can enjoy a magnificent view of the surroundings. At night one can order a drink and play a game of billiards in the 'Dikke en Dunne Bar'.

- The hotel does not have a 24-hour reception. Guests are kindly requested to write the expected time of arrival in the booking form.
- Pets are allowed, at a charge of €7.50 a night.

Surroundings
Woods, hills, and valleys surround the hotel. Alongside the meandering streams one can enjoy a nice walk. A thorough exploration of the landscape may take you to the marl caves in the area. Maastricht and Aachen are both beautiful cities where guests can spend the day and absorb some culture. The Belgian 'Ardennen' or the German 'Eifel' area can also be easily reached from the hotel by car.

- Dit is het grote hotel, geleden midden in het dorp. Oud gebouw. Gemoedelijk, beetje rommelig. Het lijkt te worden gerund door familieleden. Ze doen hun best en maken graag een praatje. Kamer 1 was bijzonder groot en net of je bij mensen thuis slaapt. Keurig schoon. Prima.

We hebben er ook gegeten, prima ontbijt en een heel goed en zeer smakelijk diner!
