This makes the Simplon Jongerenhostel a suitable accommodation for both single travellers and groups. The 12 rooms and 3 dorms offer a hostelcapacity of 91 beds. For a fun and pleasant time in Groningen the Simplon Jongerenhostel is a fine operating base. It is located in the Ebbingekwartier, an area that has a creative atmosphere with numerous shops, companies and cultural institutions such as the Simplon pop stage and the Platform theatre.

The attractive rooms, each decorated with a different theme, have excellent box-spring beds and a television. Luggage lockers are available at the dorm rooms and there is a laundry area with washer and dryer as well.

- At 80 meters from Simplon is the entrance to the Boterdiep underground car park. Costs are €2 per hour with a maximum of €20 for a day-ticket (prices subject to change).
